I saw the signs up at our Sonic yesterday! Thanks for the reminder. My boys love root beer! Guess we will try to go after church.

I saw this on a commercial last night and got excited because it was free What do you know, there's a Sonic right down the street from house. Root Beer floats wouldn't be my first choice but you can't beat free.

I am not going to this at all. I went last year with four kids. It took almost 45 mins to find a stall and get the floats...and they we're melted and yucky. I will wait untill the next day and just pay for a fresh one with no lines.

Just got back and it worked out great. The kids played at the big playground they have at our Sonic and they brought out a whole bunch of the floats on a tray for everyone. Was a good time and free!

We just went too! It was very nice. They had carhops dressed in poodle skirts all over the parking lot with trays of free floats! They were even standing at the drive thru. This was fun and we did not have to wait at all. I don't like root beer, so I took the opportunity to try one of the new bundt cake sundaes while my boys and DH had floats. It was yummy!

so glad everyone else had a great experience at sonic I sent my dh when he got off work at 11p, he said there was quite a few people so I told him to order one and get the other one free. So she brings 1 out right away, then she says she forgot the other one (free one) he pushes the button and they say she will be right out. 10 min later he pushes again and this time they tell him they are really far behind they will be out in a while. He waited for 35 minutes and he left. So by the time he brought mine that we bought home, it was a liquid mess. :-(
