In Alpharetta can you stack a Target coupon with a Man.coupon on one item? I have heard of some great blogs where they regularly do this.

The Publix in Greer @ Thornblade takes other grocery store coupons. Not sure about other kinds.

My Publix in Tampa (Hillsboro Plaza) wouldn't take my Kmart 5/50 coupon, but would take Target coupons for specific items. They also honor Albertsons & Food Lion coupons (but the meat/fish guys glare at me when I come in with Albertsons B1G2 coupons).

i love that publix, but they wont take target for me, maybe they decided to now, i have to ask again. my friend just told me that the one on 56th takes family dollar and target.

Columbia SC - Hardscrabble Road Manager stated competitor coupon is another grocery store - will not accept drugstore, target or walmart. He especially said they will accept Food Lion since they are building a new store right down the road from them. They also got new scanners a few weeks ago that scan better and I guess they were all given an update on coupon policy because the cashier was telling me what coupons I could stack! She stacked the Ben and Jerry's even though it said "manufacturer's coupon". I have come across only one cashier there that questions everything and we avoid her like the plague.

The Publix in Greenville, SC on Pelham Road won't take the Rite Aid $5 off coupon. One of the assitant managers said they only take traditional coupons (whatever that means). Although they took my target coupons this last week, they acted like it was a favor and not a regular thing. I've emailed corporate about what the coupon policy is, but no response. However, using my manufacturers and store coupons, I still save more at Publix than anywhere else.

I'm in South FL and was told the same as the previous South FL poster. They only take Albertsons and Winn Dixie in my area, not Target or Walmart. They will however take a Walmart Neighborhood market coupon if it is specifically for the Neighborhood market (although I've never seen a coupon like that.)

The silly thing is that the nearest Albertsons is 6 miles away and in a less than desirable area and the Super Target is across the street and brand new. So where do you think people are going? And the Walmart Supercenter is only a few miles away.

Since Publix gets reimbursed for all the manuf. coupons and there really aren't many competitor coupons in this area I don't see how anyone could say Publix is loosing money (in this area anyway).
