Well you could do this: 1 playtex 3.99 1 clearasil 3.99 1 revlon 3.99 1 colgate 2.99 2 bandaids (2.99x2) 5.98 2 speedstick (3.99x2) 7.98 1 filler 1.50 subtotal: $30.42 Use: 5/30 (1)Save 1.00 Playtex Glide (1)Save 1.00 Clearasil (1)Save 1.00 Revlon Color Cosmetic Product (1)Save 1.00 Colgate Total (2) Save 1.00 on any 1 Bandaid 10.00 ECBs Pay $9.42 + tax Get back a total of $23.97 ECBs. If you account for the cash you pay and the $10 ECB you use, it's still a $4.55 profit. If you happen to have one of the 'up to $30' Contour/Breeze2 coupons, you could work a cheaper deal to make more money: 1 Breeze2 19.99 1 clearasil 3.99 1 playtex 3.99 1 colgate 2.99 1 revlon 3.99 2 bandaids 5.98 subtotal: 40.93 use: 5/30 10.00 ecb 'up to $30' Breeze2 coupon (*19.99) (1)Save 1.00 Playtex Glide (1)Save 1.00 Clearasil (1)Save 1.00 Revlon Color Cosmetic Product (1)Save 1.00 Colgate Total (2) Save 1.00 on any 1 Bandaid Your subtotal after coupons will either be -$0.06 (with tax then added back in) or $0.00 (again w/ tax added back in) depending on whether the cashier decides to adjust down the last coupon you hand them. Pay basically $0.00 + tax Get back: $15.99 ECBs - $5.99 profit after accounting for the $10 ECB you spent in the transaction So you would get back less total, but you'd have a much better OOP and a slightly better profit. If you do have one of those coupons (or, hey, $20 worth of ANY coupons that would happen to make items free if possible) I would definitely go w/ option # 2. Oh and you could then go and get some of the free-after-ecb speedstick with some of your ecbs if you wanted to, and of course have a $0.00 OOP.
