| Does Meijer give overage?
A quick search through the forum and I couldn't find my answer, but I do appologize b/c this has probably been addressed before! Does meijer give overage on Qs? For example... 16oz Kraft Dressing on sale for $1.58. I have MMBQ for $1.00 and ManfQ for $1.50. Can I make this a $.92 MM???? Or will they total it out to $.00 or should I just use my MANF Q making these $.08 a bottle? (Still a fantastic deal!)

Overage at Meijer is generally a YMMV, given only when the cashier doesn't adjust down a coupon (like they should according to store policy) but accepts it at face value. HOWEVER, it is my experience that when the overage comes from a Mealbox coupon (like in your case), you will be given overage. Be sure to use your manufacturer coupon FIRST, then the Mealbox. It's still YMMV - if your cashier notices, it may not be allowed. But it's worth a try! |

I agree with the PP it is a YMMV thing. It all depends on the time of day, your cashier, the lighting in the store and what color your neighbor's cat is LOLOLOL. J/K

My meijer gives overage as long as there is filler. They honor the full price of the Q whether the item costs that much or not. As jonoma said... YMMV according to cashier but I do the self checkout so mine go through fine.

I never had overage until yesterday. I think the cashier just wanted to get through my coupons and get me out of the store. I had a bunch of freebies, and a $3.xx pack of hamburger. After all my coupons, my bill was $2.xx. It doesn't take much to get me excited. |

My store automatically price adjusts the manf. Q if it is over the price of the item. For example the $1 Kraft BBQ coupon on the $.79 BBQ sauce was adjusted to $.79. However, if it's a manf. Q AND a Mealbox Q--I always get overrage no matter what order I give the Qs. The store Q (Mealbox) comes off the price of the item, then the manf. Q is considered a form of payment on the total. For example, the $1/1 Kraft dressing MBQ came off and left a total of $.58, but the $1.50 manf. Q came off my total too. So $.92 overrage. Of course I had a huge order, so the total wasn't negative or anything. But with all the moneymakers lately (Kraft dressing, Ortega seasoning, etc.) it really reduces your total OOP bill! HTH!

Yep I always get overages when I use mealbox coupons. Most of my man coupons get adjusted down when they are scanned... Now I will say I have had some regular coupons give the overages (like the taco seasonings) LOVE THE OVERAGES!! I had 6 salad drsgs this week and made $.92 on each one. YEAH!!
