Just got my flyer and there are more triples!!!

Think they'll do this every week???

Holy cow!!!! DS was teething really bad this week (2 year molars...ugh!) so I didn't get to make as many trips as I'd hoped. This is great news.

What do you ladies get with the triples? Honestly, I haven't found anything worth the coupon the past few times. Big Y is so expensive in my opinion. If you know of anything, pass it on!

Last week I got McCormick GrillMates Seasoning, I had .75 q for them and they were on sale B1G1 with a shelf price of 2.29, so .04 for two jars! Not sure if the sale is still on though. I also have a .75/2 Lipton sides, but I might just take this triples to Shaws this week because the sides are 10/10 there...so free!

Sometimes if I can't match up anything with the flyer, I take some high value qs and/or qs for items that aren't too expensive along with a list of something else to buy like the Electrasol is 2/7 and I have 2.50 qs...in this week's flyer my FAV BBQ sauce in on sale for .99 (so excited!), I have a raincheck on the small steps still too...and then I check out the pricing on the items with the qs to see if there are any that are worth it. If so, I get them and my other stuff, if not I still pick up the other items and take the unused triples over to Shaws or Stop and Shop (they both take competitors qs in my area, yay!)

I've been trying to get more triples, but no luck at the Post Office so far...if you've been able to score some extras at the PO, what time and day of the week did you go? Is there a best time to go to maximize the chances of extra flyers??

Just got my coupon preview and there are going to be qs for Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce!!!! $1 off 1 large size or two small so with the .99 sale, it's only .50! This is my FAVORITE stuff ever!!! So excited!!

I had a .75 coupon for Welch's lite juice that I used last week. It was on sale for $3 so paid .72 for a 52 oz. bottle. I also use the McCormick Grillmates coupons since they were BOGO. I also used a .55 coupon on an energy bar that DH likes (can't remember the brand now) and ended up getting that free. I don't think Big Y is that much higher priced than everyone else. They have awesome sales every week and I've found plenty to use my coupons on.

Got my ad today. I also picked up 3 extras at the post office recycling bin for more triples to use at Big Y and at Shaws

So far in the ad I see:

- FREE Pillsbury Brownie mix -- it's on sale $0.99. There was a $0.35/1 in the 03/25/2009 RP.
- Nature's Pride Bread. It's on sale $2.50. There was a $0.55/1 in the 02/22/2009 RP , makes it $0.85 -- not bad!


Anyone else see great deals with the triples this week?
