I think it depends on how the BOGO sales ring up in your area.

I live in an area where each item rings up at 50% off, so the cashier looks at the tape to get the dollar amount and it's the 50% off price. So in effect I buy one at half price and get the other free. If you show them the price in the ad they may give you the full price amount off.

If your items ring up one full price and one free I think you get them both for free...they would see and subtract the $ amount of the full price item.

I was really hoping on a deal on tortillas for our Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday. Boo. I already have a ton of salsa from the "buy theirs get ours" promotion.
