My luck is the same as yours GBM. I found an email in my box this AM from Rite Aid -- checked my status. No credit for the 2 Coppertone Cont sprays that I bought. I guess I will wait to mail off the receipt (for the free YOGA book mentioned in the Rite Aid flyer -- on page after Skincare rebate info) until I know the error (is it a real error??) is fixed/addressed.

Hearing that they will put in a global fix and reprocess everything, all promised to be done by 7/29/06. [Knowing these guys, it'll just make matters worse!]

When you call to inquire, their responses run the gamut, from denying that there is a problem, to having to ask the home office about it, to total incompetence. Have I mentioned recently that RA is one of the worst-run retailers?

And if you end up having to use your receipt for other purposes, I will gladly RAOK you a receipt for Coppertone, to get you that book. I got both the Yoga and the Pilates one for wifey (make sure you use different addresses), and she thinks both are "worthy".

Thanks for the RAOK offer. I do have 2 CRTs -- and was planning on requesting both books (have 2 different addys). Good to know they are both 'worthy'. I was planning to mail tomorrow for the books...but will hold onto the CRTs for a couple more days in order to fix the rebate issue.

What really stinks: the Coppertone Cont Spray must not even be in their system as part of the RA Skincare offer. I say this b/c on my CRT I had bought 4 bottles Coppertone Cont Spray. You'd think if the item was in the system, then I would've at least gotten $5 skincare credit, but I got $0. It didn't even acknowledge the Coppertone Cont Spray.

Oh well... I will be patient and wait until 7/30 and see if all is fixed.

I bought 20+ of these on Sunday, 10+ of them were processed through their system, and 10+ of them are "waiting for data from the store". I bought multiples of the different SPF, some Sport and some regular. NONE of the ones that went through are incrementing towards the rebate.

The thing that makes this even MORE interesting is that WE KNOW this product was in their system at one time. Back in June, they were give-aways as well (as part of the Kodak/Coppertone moneymaker), and they incremented towards the Skin Rebate back then. It would seem that they would have had to go back in and EXCLUDE them for some reason!

Hold it -- I went back and re-read my Rite Aid page as well as the correct CRT.

I didn't get credit for my BOGO Banana Boat purchase grrr!!!!!

I bought 2 Banana Boat sunscreens and 2 Curels on that CRT -- got $5 credit for the Curels but nada for the Banana Boat.

Ok...deep breath...will wait til 7/29 to see if it is all cleared up w/o a phone call on my part....

In the past, Kelloggs movie cash comes to mind, they had no record on the website of receiving my 20+ forms but lo and behold they all arrived safe and sound so we shall see what a few days makes

This has been a great week for mail!! Got the skin care rebate check yesterday, mentioned above. And now today, not only did I get a really great card from a very special friend, but I also got my gas card from the P&G deal from back in June. It comes in an envelope that looks like some credit card junk-mail, and has a return address of "TPG Rewards". So if you did the deal, keep an eye out for it, and be a bit careful not to throw it away.
