I was just looking at the $2 Q for Johnson Johnson in this weeks insert? It says johnsons body care? I usually get all my baby wash from target because they have the smaller size body wash head to toe for 2.13 at mine and .13 cents each is a great deal so I was wondering if you guys think I can use this Q for the baby wash?

I wouldn't just because the Body care and Johnson Baby are two specific lines of product and separate q's are put out for each. If there wasn't a specific Body Care line I would feel more comfortable using.

I agree w/PP. They're two different lines and the new $2 q was issued to promote their newer adult Body Care line.

regardless if it doesn't beep, it specifically says its for the body care line and not the baby line. it also states on the coupon 'available in the adult skincare aisle', so there is another clue. i would not use it because more than likely, Target won't get reimbursed by the manufacturer, which leads to stricter Targets.

I know this isn't about the coupon, but miriamkt was asking if the q would work for the baby wash, not saying everyone should go out and use the q on the baby wash. (And I agree this specific q was not meant to be used on the Johnson's baby line.)

But my thing is shouldn't we incourage people ask these questions, instead of threating them about improper coupon use and removing their posts!?!

Yes...people should ask questions, BUT we have had so many posts that people go ahead and tell the OP that they used it on a different product and it worked even though the coupon was used on the wrong product.

Sometimes it is easier to nip it in the butt before someone comes in here and says to go head and do it.

nope it doesn't work....i did not read the coupon right and thought it was for "baby care" and the coupon did not scan. I still did not realize it then till i read your post that it is for "body care". LOL...to myself...i was still confused to why it did not scan then.

Ok thanks everyone for the answers. Now I know there is a specific line for Adults and that this is what the coupon is for. I hope my Kmart doubles on the third so I can find some sweet deals to use it on.

This thread got off track in a good way. I think questions like these are good ones to ask your buddy when you first join AFC. That way you can send a personal message and get the answers you need. The buddy program is great for that. If you have to questions the usage of a coupon you should go with your gut feeling sometimes.

There was an AFC Buddy program where new members could sign up to be paired w/someone who's been on AFC longer. The AFC Buddy was available to you to answer questions about coupons, how to get around AFC, help w/specific stores, etc. The program is currently being overhauled and is supposed to start up again sometime in the (near?) future. In the meantime, newbies shouldn't be afraid to ask questions anywhere in the forums or Cry For Help forum, especially. It's been very helpful to people who are new to forums and more shy about jumping in.

I agree with admins and mods judgment call on this thread. OP, don't feel like they're picking on you. I also noticed threads in other forums where some people would post,

this RR/cat/MQ worked for this item.......even if the coupon states clearly what it is meant to be used for. I just read of one RR at WAG being rolled when the RR is good for 125 ct while the item on sale printing the RR is for a lower ct box. It may have scanned, but was it right to use and get the cashier in trouble? in this case, wouldn't it be best to say the RR for 125 ct SHOULD NOT BE ROLLED TO GET ANOTHER RR FOR THE LOWER CT box?

I'd rather see someone post saying, YES, it doesn't work and let's not use it for other items the company makes. We all know Target has been getting strict with all coupons beeping. if we keep pushing their buttons, I'm sure they will not budge since they'd rather lose some couponer customers than deal constantly with some complaints that don't even have a basis from the get-go.
