| New Publix Q book - Save Money, Save the Planet ![]() Found at my Publix today, has the following MQs: $1 off 1 Greenworks cleaning product .60 off Explorer's Bounty Puffed Fruit It Crunches $2 off Explorer's Bounty Organic Dark Chocolate $1 off Explorer's Bounty Coffee .35 off Domino's Sugar (4 or 5 lb. bag) B1G1 Vitamin Water $1 off any Kashi Pizza $1 off 6 pack of Elations $1 off any McCormick Spice $1 off Silk Soymilk 1/2 gallon .75 off Smart Balance Milk or Butter Blend and the following Publix store Q: $1 off any Odwalla beverage According to my Publix, they just got them today. The Qs expire anywhere between 5/31 and 6/30. Okay, now for all you coupon geniuses, I cannot for the life of me figure out how the deal would work on the B1G1 Vitamin water MQ in conjunction with Publix's current sale on this of B2G1... Any thoughts on this one??? How about using the B1G1 MQ in conjunction with a .50 off 1 MQ, in conjunction with Publix's current sale??Would it be for 3 vitamin waters (at $1.49 ea) as follows: Publix sale - B2G1 MQ B1G1, making 1 of the 2 that you have to purchase free MQ .50 off on the 1 remaining that you are purchasing, when doubled = $1 off Final price $.49 for 3 vitamin waters? Thanks. I would do the B2g1 and you would really be buying 1 and getting 2. But your other question sounds like you want to use 2 mq together and you cant do that. Even if one is B1G1 that coupon right there applies to both products. That is just my opinion.

No coupon required store sale is B2G1 = 3 vitamin waters, so you pay for 2 at $1.49 each.... Use MQ B1G1 = - 1 x $1.49= means you are getting one of the 2 you have to purchase for free Use MQ .50 off 1 = 1.49 - .50 x 2 = .49 for the second vitamin water Third vitamin water is free, per store sale If the store is giving me one free for purchasing 2, I can use a B1G1 MQ to get one of the 2 required for free, and on the remaining one I use a .50 MQ, doubled to equal $1. The store is not reimbursed for the one they are offering on their sale as free, but the Mfr is reimbursing them $1.49 for one, then $.50 on the other one (though the store eats the other .50 because they double in my area. I don't want to do anything wrong or dishonest -- the math works out for me as I've outlined above, but want to be sure that my reasoning is correct? |

Yes, I am still confused too!! Hopefully Kroger will have these at $1 each soon, which would be a lot less confusing to me (not to mention free vitamin water when using the 2 MQs) ![]() |

In Georgia, a B2G1 sale usually means that each one rings up at 2/3 the regular price. In that instance, you could buy one at 2/3 price, use a $1 coupon on that one, and get the second free. No need to buy a 3rd one unless you want to repeat the deal. |

I bought 3 of these the other day. In the case of this particular sale, the first 2 waters ring up full price and the 3rd water says "promotional savings" and -$1.49. This is quite different from the way Publix deals usually work here. Anyone who does this deal, be sure that you purchase increments of 3 to get the savings.
