ymmv.. if it scans than you can use the q no prob (may have to be adjusted down) if it does not scan it will be up tp the cashier.. HTH Good Luck

Yeah Wags is the only place I know that is SO ymmv. If you get a nice cashier they probably won't give you issues.

My Walgreens will let me do it as long as I cover overage with a fillin. May I ask what the Q is for. They may be on clearance at others stores also. Thanks.

My 3 of the 5 WAGS I go to allow overage as long as I have an item to cover it. I have asked the other two to adjust the coupon down and they both said they couldn't.

I'm assuming this is MFG coupon you're talking about. If so, you could ask the cashire to prorate the coupon. This is YMMV. Some cashiers at my store do it....some don't.

The more safe bet is to buy some filler to cover the overage. For instance, if you get some candy that's part of IVC for .39, that will bring your total to 3.11 and you get some cheap Easter candy out of the deal for only .11 OOP.

I tried to buy John Freida on clearance the other day for 3.49 with a 2 Q so it would be safe but it rang in at 1.76 so she said I couldn't use my Q because it was over the price of the item. I even had a ton of fillers (I had $16 oop that day because I bought a ton of diapers) but I have been able to use over Qs at my other Wags. I would just try it and see and it if doesn't work just say you don't want it and maybe try another store?

vegas, it's an Olay Definity Foaming Cleanser...

they have two bottles at my wags. once when i was buying colgate on sale for .99 i tried to use a $1 q and it beeped. so what i did was get two tubes of colgate and then when my q was scanned it didn't beep and so i had the cashier remove the second colgate... sneaky? hmmm, the cashier looked surprised it worked.
i am thinking that if i try it and it beeps i might do that again... is it wrong?

My manager is the best........... He told me that if the q works, use it. He said they get like 8 cents back along with the coupon price. So they are being paid to take them!!!! So now that he is here we can have a sale bogof and he will let us use a bogof coupon also. It is frustrating when 1 person wipes out the shelf and there are no products for everyone else but our customers are happier=) it makes me sad to hear these horror stories!

this just happen to me today they had the schick intuation cucumber melon for 2.39 on sale from 9.99 can you belive that i had 2 $4 mf q i got 2 they also has the soft and dry deodorants for ladies at 82 cents i had a mf q for $1 off 2 so i gave the cashire the q they said i could not do so/so we compromised and they let me use a $4 and a $1 for 2 deod.total oop$1.78 not bad 2 razor 2 deodorants .

a lot of the times with Walgreens there is only overage when you get to use one of their coupons as well.

I got the razor refills today for $2.89 each and I only had two coupons so I grabbed three refills and was able to use both coupons as there was a little bit owed.

I wouldn't have been able to get 2 and then use both coupons because all I had was manny coupons. I hope that helps a little I have this happen at every wags that I go to unless they just can't figure out that the amount of the item is less then the coupon and then they will push it through.

vegas, they were on the regular shelf, not the clearance section. just had a big orange tag underneath.

At my store they wouldn't. I asked them (because I was fine with not getting overage) to adjust the coupon down or adjust the item up but they would do neither. I wrote to customer service and they never contacted me back

My favorite cashier would likely just adjust it down if it beeped. There are other cashiers there that won't even try anything else, if it beeps they say they can't take it. And I'd also make sure to have something else so my oop would be something.

$2.72 + $0.29 Wags tissue pack = $3.01 plus tax, use $3 Q and just pay the tax!
