Here's the deal:

Foodlion Granulated Sugar 5lb bag is on sale $1.49 Limit 4. Also, Kool-Aid packets are regularly priced 5/$1.00, however there is an unadvertised sale on them for 10/$1.00. In-Store there is a coupon for $1 off FL Sugar wyb 5 packs of Kool-Aid. It does not specify a size for the FL sugar so I purchased a couple of different varieties. Also, there is a FLIP for $1/2 FL Brown Sugar here Web Coupons. Here are my scenarios:

1 Foodlion Granulated Sugar 5 lb bag $1.49
5 Kool-Aid Packets .10 each
Total $1.99

Minus $1 off FL Sugar wyb 5 packs of FL Sugar
Total .99 for all 5 items!!!



1 FL Granulated Sugar 16oz Shaker $1.26
5 Kool-Aid Packets .10 each
Total $1.76

Minus $1 off FL Sugar wyb 5 packs of FL Sugar
Total .76 for all 5 items!!!



1 FL Brown Sugar .75 each
5 Kool-Aid Packets .10 each
Total $1.25

Minus $1 off FL Sugar wyb 5 packs of FL Sugar( Make sure to scan MVP after cpn)
Total 5 items for .25!!!

2 FL Brown Sugar .75 each
Minus $1/2 FLIP
Total 2 for .50!!!

Now in another post I read that people are discussing using both the FLIP for $1/2 Brown Sugar and the $1 off FL Sugar wyb 5 packs of Kool-Aid tearpad cpn together. I am not listing the scenario for this because I think it goes against FL cpn policy.

Great deals! I got two of the 5lb granulated sugars today & 10 packs of Kool-Aid! You can't beat that deal & we were completely out of sugar... I held off until today just b/c I knew that deal was coming !

Heck if I'd have realized I could do the brown sugar then I would have done that too b/c we're also out of brown sugar... but I will be making another run before the sale is over!

Oh my! Between HT triples making brown sugar free, Publix's Domino sugar sale and Bilo's .99 sale on Dixie, I am soo stocked up on sugar! But I can't help but think that someone in my family needs some sugar. Thanks for posting this deal!

I found it by the Kool-Aid and at the end of another aisle on a display of Kool-Aid.

Oh how I wish FL had price checkers throughout the store to see if that KoolAid is really 10/$1 at my store. I would hate to tell Bob to cancel my order if it's not on sale!

I FINALLY found the coupon on a tear pad at the actual register... it was right beside the credit card thingy.... strange place to put it, I think!!

It's probably up there so they keep someone from taking the whole pad.

I have a friend that easily found the tearpads in her town but I have been to 5 Food Lions and none of them have had them out. 2 had no idea what I was talking about and the others are keeping the tearpad in customer service. And when you ask they give you 1. Okay, I know the whole tearpad would likely disappear but really?? It's in the ad! Have it where people can find the thing! I guess that's the punishment for all of us for those who take the whole tearpad~!

It is on an end display in the soda isle for my store and I also found out that they are watching some individuals who are taking the whole tear pads now. They want everyone to enjoy the deals so they are stopping them now.

The coupons are good till September 30th 2009. I do not know how they handle the limit though.

I found them in two out of the three stores I went to. The tearpads were almost empty in both of the stores it looked like someone took the entire pad then just left the cardboard. The other one had maybe 10 coupons. I got the limit of four with my 20 koolaids $4.08 total. They had signs up all over stating that the limit of four would be enforced.

thanks sooooooooo much..right now, I'm starting a new job and getting up at 2:30 a.m...so between trying to adjust my body clock and learning all the new stuff I need to know my brain is atrophied with couponing..yet I don't make enough/husband still laid off to be frivolous with my spending..so definitely feel grateful for your thinking right now..bless you!

FYI- I got a coupon from Lowes WYB 10 koolaid's you get 2 free, so today I got 2 5lb sugars and 12 koolaids for $1.98!!!

Is it in the ad for your area? If so, show them the ad. They will find a way to correct it if it is in the ad. At least that has been my experience at FL.

Yep, it's in my ad for the area. They wouldn't do anything to correct it since it's first come first serve. Spoke to managers just to make sure they weren't hiding anywhere. No dice. I guess I'll be calling around later tonight to see if I can track down a store with them.
