I went in tonight for a few things, knew the total seemed a few dollars higher than I thought it would be and checked my receipt. I was overcharged on 4 different items. This is the 3rd time that it has happened in the last month. I am so frustrated!! I wish that I would have caught it while I was still in the store, but didn't see it until my DH was almost out of the parking lot. I am dropping my boys off at school in the morning and heading straight there! So, make sure that you check your receipts! If I found 4 in one small trip, I am sure that others will find mistakes too!

I was over charged by $5. First the $3 P&G deal didn't come off (caught it in the store) and then when I got home I noticed that the q I had for b1g1f artisan wheat thins didn't come off either ($2). I had an extra, so I took it with the receipt and got my money back.

I don't shop Kroger unless there is a terrific sale for this very reason - no matter which store I visit, I go directly from the checkout line to the customer service line, and I find the mistakes on my receipt while I wait! By the way, Kroger's policy is that 1 of anything that rings up wrong should be refunded at the sale price.

Kroger used to have a great policy on overcharges, it used to be that if you were overcharged, you got the item for free. Then I think they decided that was causing them to lose too much money and they quit doing it. I once heard a rumor that they purposely overcharge on some of the sale items since not enough people check their receipts. I don't know if there is any truth in that. |

My Kroger still has the scan right guarantee posted on the wall by CS. AND I use it all the time. The last they paid me to take out a pot roast that rang up wrong and the very next week one of the rotisoire chickens for FREE!!! So yes check those receipts before you walk out the door and go straight to CS. Or go back the next day and get your money back!
