I have a very pricey to fill epson photo printer... costs ~$60ish to fill all cartridges... I don't want to print Q's in color. How do I tell it to only print BW when printing IP Q's?

If I'm printing a word document or whatever, it pops up with the printer options box and I can click "BW only"... but with these online Q's, it seems they just go directly to the printer and there is no pop up box - therefore, no chance to tell it only BW... Ack! I'm going to spend way more in ink than I'm saving with Q's!

Anyone know?

If you go to your control panel, which can be found by typing "control panel" into the search bar.
Then click on hardware and sound. Then on printer. Then right click on the printer image. Go down to properties and click. Then click on printing preferences. You should find the option for B&W here. It will change your default so you always are printing b&W unless you tell it otherwise.

i have an epson too. so thanks for asking because i would like to know also.

I found out the hard way that it wont print, not even black and white, without the color carts.

...yeah, had I known epson inks were so price and that they all have to be full, I would have chosen a different brand I think! Grr.
