So I go into walgreens this afternoon, and the head BA is on duty, she tells me that I can check out with her, but I also see the Lady Assistant Manager that I have had problems with in the past. So I head up to the front and do a double transaction.
1st transaction -8 Dove bars, used a $6 cat, and paid $4 something.

2nd trans- I bought a clx speedstick and the three listerine/reach products. I used a $6 cat. The speed stick cat pops out. But no Literine/Reach.

So I go to the BA and ask if they can be returned. She grabs the manager. Ugh. She tells me all she can refund me is .33c because I used a cat. Well I tell her i bought the wrong items and I would like to buy the correct ones to get the cat. She tells me the whole story of if you use a cat, you wont get a cat. I expllained to her that I used another brand of cat, and my mom (which actually is you all) did the same deal the same way and got theirs, she told me all i could do is void the transaction. So she goes away and voids it. While she is gone, im talking to the ba, and o, trying to explain that it will work because I got one cat, just didnt get the other one. The manager comes back and just pretty much throws the cat at me and walks away. So I run away to do the deal correctly, and I come back and present her with the coupon ($3/3) and she and I talk about if it will work, and she tells me pretty much im SOL if it doesnt work, so i say ok do it anyway (knowing it will) and lo and behold it does.

So I say I will be back in later to do it again. And this is the best part.... She says "Come back after 5 when the manager leaves!" Love it. So i'm going back tonight when I get off work to do this deal when the manger is gone! Love it!

Is there a way I could of managed the Manager better? Did I say or do something wrong?

Congrats on getting your RR, it can be such a pain and is part of the reason I don't shop WAGS much anymore.

Mostly, though, I love that you call AFC your "mom!" I do that all the time!! LOL

I think it's SO RIDICULOUS that we AFCers know the way cats and Q's work WAY better than the managers. There is really no excuse for that.
