| Irish Spring
Went last night to in on the deals early. When I was midway back home I looked at my receipt and saw that the casheir did not ring up my Irish Spring BW. So, I went back this morning and informed the cashier that the BW was not scanned. She was impressed that I went out of my way to bring it back to pay for it! There was a small line building up behind me so I let those people go and while ringing me she told the manager what I just did. He said, you always do so well here and I appreciate your honesty, not everyone would go out of their way like that. I said, I did not feel comfortable, CVS has been good to me and that his cashiers are always kind. I just could not hold on to something I did not pay for.

Good for you!! Honesty is the best policy!! At the last Kmart doubles I got out to my car and noticed an eyeshadow in the bottom of my cart that I did not pay for (I know because I had a prob with one of my Loreal q's). So I brought it back in and said "I think I might have accidently shoplifted this" with a snicker "so I would like to return it" She looked at me like I was an evil evil person and did something wrong by bringing it back. I felt better that I brought it back but felt like I had done something wrong by bringing it back!!

That was wonderful of you! Also, it's just as well b/c your ECBs for the Irish Spring probably would not have printed last night. Usually the 2 and 3 day sale items will ONLY work on those particular days, even if your store starts the ads early. I'm sure your store really appreciates that you didn't just keep the first 'freebie' and then come get another one, though. LOL

It is so nice to see you be honest, but I had to laugh at your comment...the one about not being able to hold on to something you didn't pay for!! You ladies have taught me the finer points of doing just that!! Of course, it is after coupons and extra care bucks...free stuff, but without an ounce of guilt! Thanks for sharing!
