what the freag is with these cashiers? I used a RR and a newspaper coupon and she told me that I couldn't use both b/c he RR IS a manu coupon too. I told her I'd done it before, to do the coup first and she just looked exasperated and callled the mgr who handled it just fine.

I think the cashiers are basically an unskilled workforce, and maybe I should go in w/the same expectations I do at McD's - I don't count on them to know things. I do hate asking for a manager as the line is growing behind me though. Maybe the rules about coups are so complicated that it's hard to train to all scenarios?

The RR is a manu coupon. If you only bought 1 item you cannot use 2 coupons on it. That has been the way it is for awhile now. I had to throw in a chapstick the other day because I had 6 items and 6 q's for the products and I was using a RR to pay.

Wow that sucks that the cashier didn't know what she was doing but I don't think that you should put them down like that. I have been a cashier at several retail chains and not one of them actually trained me on coupons. It makes it even worse that wags does not have a set policy. So I am sure training (if any) is limited. I know it is frustrating but keep in mind that if they are not taught the ins and outs of coupons most likely they will have no clue what to do with them. Blame wags not the cashiers!!
