I did a few transactions tonight at Kroger!! I LOVE these mega deals. I have several different transactions so trying to do a few everyday.. Although I did learn nights are not the time to shop.. They were cleaning the floors on half the store

3 Kelloggs cereals
2 quaker snacks
3 Land o lakes
2 toaster strudel

Total $3.10

Transaction #2
10 alpo dog food (used 5 b1g1f) (was hoping for $5 off but wasn't on sale here)
3 chex mix
2 cheerios mix
8 betty crocker fruit by the foot/gushers (kids will be so happy as we were out)
2 fiber one bars
1 betty crocker warm delight
2 land o lakes
1 betty crocker potato
2 freschetta pizzas
1 ban deod.. Clearanced
3 bandaid (clearanced)

total $15.04 (saved $67.50)

Transaction #3
10 quaker snacks (boo no coupons)
1 gum

Total $.90 (used a $5 kroger coupon)


Not too bad for a nights shopping!! I am going to get 10 purex and more pizzas later this week once coupons get here..,.. I AM LOVING KROGERS!!! Although I think hubby would of preferred I didn't find out about all the deals

I tried to search, but do you or anyone else have any other good or bad opinions on Purex? I know it's cheap, but is it even worth buying?

I use it all the time, never have had any problems useing it.

Purex is my detergent of choice! I used to use Tide, then Gain, and now ONLY Purex will do!

Yep I use purex or arm and hammer all the time now.. I really like them! Esp the price!

I used to use Tide as my mom used it, but I really like Purex, clothes get clean and they smell great!!

To get the $5 off for each 10 items purchased, do we have to do separate transactions??

Yes it does. At least I noticed it at one of my krogers just the other day. They're wasn't much variety in sents, but they did have He.

No you don't I have done 3 of the -$5 off 10 deals in one transaction. On my ad it stated that there was a limit of 3 MDs in one order.... I think it is easier to make sure that everything you have is on the MD sale if you keep it smaller. With having a larger order I spent (before Q's) over $50 so I go a $5 Q back to use on my next purchase!

I use the list making thingy on the Kroger site when they have the mix and match deals. It makes it easy to figure out the multiples. Just "add to list" and then when it is time to print you can change up the amounts of each to match the number you need to buy in relation to how many you want and the coupons etc. Way better than my old version in my head. My brain calculator quit working when I hit thirty. LOL!

Thats a good idea. I use a notebook and write down what I want at each store. Then I use envelopes to put my coupons I am using for each transaction.. When I get to the register I am all ready to go. Although this takes alot of prep time at home!
