I just got back from WAGS in hopes of getting the dove soap deal a second time (I love dove). Of course, they were out by saturday night, duh. But anywhoo.... I got some hershey's syrup while I was there and decided to get another free colgate. I used a man. Q and a RR (not a colgate one) which brought my total to 68 cents. Of course the RR didn't print for the colgate, so they had to call the manager. He asked me if I used anything to lower the total of the sale. I said yeah, I used a coupon and a RR. He said that the RR will no longer print when ANY coupons are used. I looked at him like he had 2 heads and he said he just found this out the other day. I said, but it WILL work if I use a RR only, and he said no! So long story short, no more rolling those RRs. I don't think I believe him though. He was very nice and said he thinks it's great what "you guys" do with the coupons, and how he recognized me, etc., etc. So I don't know what to think. I also am not sure if it's a Florida thing, since FL doesn't do doubles at the grocery stores, etc. So basically I returned my Colgate and walked out pretty upset. UGH!!! What do you guys think??? Walgreens is sooooo close to losing my business altogether.

...and now I'm worried about the Huggies deal tomorrow.

I just got back from wags, I used the blink RR for the colgate, vaseline lotion, and carmex. I used coupons and the RR to pay and got back all three RR's. So it might just be that store. I would try a different one. Good Luck.

I think that the manager told you the truth... although, from what I gather not EVERY store is going to be this way... I also found this out the hard way... tried the blink deal with a $2. man q and got a $2.50 off any Refresh cat, NO $8. RR and then I also tried the colgate thing and I used the .75 man q and that time I got NOTHING.... so, I will forget the RR thing and stick to straight out coupons from now on.... SO VERY GLAD that the Garnier and Glade deals this week don't revolve around RR's!!!!

Uh-oh! That's a scary thought - I'm from the Tampa bay area as well. I will have to double check my receipts, buut I'm pretty sure the last transaction I did yesterday - I got a toothpaste, 2 packages of wags pull ups, sambucal and vaseline lotion. I used 2 Q's for the sambucal, 1 mq for the colgate and one mq for the lotion. I then used an $8 rr from blink and got back $3.50 for the toothpaste and $2 for the lotion.

Maybe their machine wasn't working and the mgr didn't want to deal with it???

I used the dove rr & q's with my purchase and I bought blink tears, and it printed 8.00 rr for the blink. Just don't use the same rr that your buying to get more rr.

Of course, if it hadn't been a huge hassle to return the colgate and get my original RR back, I may have thought this. It's just weird, cause I had no problem earlier this week and even bought a colgate earlier this week at this same store. Oh well, that walgreens just lost my business. The walgreens the other way is the one that said I can't use coupons on clearance items, so I guess I'll have to find a new one. UGH!!!!

Today afternoon i used the RR from dove deal to get blink, colgate and carmex and also used blink coupon too. I got RRs for blink, colgate and carmex. I am from tampa too.

Thanks for the reminder. From my experience WHEN I roll a RR for the same item I am buying it does not print out an RR for the new item. But when I roll on different items it does print.

Ex: a while back there was the Robitussin $10 RR. Well on a purchase without RR I received the $10 RR. When I rolled the $10 RR from the prior purchase it did not give me a new $10 RR. This was realized after speaking to the manager.

I have not had any trouble with just manu coupons though.

I did the same deal with colgate and it did not print.. Second time I have had trouble with Manf q and getting RR

OMG...I think this is going to affect our Huggies deal tomorrow. There has already been one post about it. I will be sooooooo sad if it doesn't work.

If your RR doesn't print just call Catalina Marketing. Had my Catalina mailed to me in a week. They can tell if the machine was offline, not functioning, etc. (888) 322-3814, ask for Customer Service. Using coupons does not affect RRs! A lot of the cashiers and even managers don't know this!
