 wags limiting diapers..
So I lugged my preggo self and my three kids to wags this morning to do the deal and the grouchy cashier told me that I could only have six packets.I had four pull ups and 8 diapers (I had left plenty on the shelves) she let me have the pull ups too but this really peeved me.She also tried to cut out my coupon but I was having none of that and promptley took the booklet back!! Are they allowed to do this? FWIW I went to another one after and got ten more no problems,no limit. |

They can limit them if they want to. Some stores choose to and some don't. They also try to take those coupons as they don't realize that they are Walgreens coupons for some reason. I wish I had the coupon as we are in direneed of diapers and I hate to pay full price.

Yep, stores are allowed to set their own limits. It is only Sunday after all. 6 is a pretty good limit.

Where is the diaper coupon? I got a pharmacy coupon book but it's not in there.

i was able to get 12 today no problem. the manager even said "come to our walgreens and we'll always let you keep your coupon" so that is my main walgreens from now on. its even outta my way but for 2.50 a pack of diapers i will drive 5 mins outa the way.  |

It's a 2.00 coupon in the Pharmacy booklet. It's the booklet they give you when you ask about their savings program.

Comfort diapers are 2/$9. Use the 2.00 coupons from the pharmacy booklet and the diapers end up being 2.50 each.

No, this coupon is in the pharmacy booklet. Go to the pharmacy and ask them about their prescription savings program. They may give you a paper or 2 with all the medications listed. Than ask about the 50.00 Coupon Booklet that you get when you ask about the program. The booklet is red (I think?) and it has a picture of walgreen's front doors on it. In that booklet is a 2.00 coupon on Wags diapers.

My pharmacy knew nothing about a coupon booklet, and I asked at 2 different locations. Whats the trick?

make sure they hand you the red booklet that has the walgreens door on front,NOT the medicare one-->(has pictures w/older couples on it).

yes come to think of it i think it is the medicare one. i will have to go back today. B/c i had the lady void the diapers b/c the coupon wasn't on the booklet. She said well thats a good deal i said i will not pay 4.50 a pack when i can get them for 2.50 a pack. HAHAHA i am just too frugal!!  |

I compare the premiums to huggies overnights. My son can't use any diapers except huggies and walgreens prems. Since we have been using the walgreens, he hasn't peed or pooped through one single diaper. They are great imo. They are all we use now. Unless I can get Huggies super duper cheap - but I still prefer the wags ones. They are much much thicker.
