I saw some walgreens brush scrubbers for 50cents and corn cushions for 50cents . These were in the aisles . On the clearance endcaps were some dvd movies 4/$1 .

I was looking for a useful filler rather than some chocolate or candy (doesn't help my hips ) so...

found Colgate Easy Clean toothbrushes in the trial size area of the store. They're soft full heads. Normally .99 cents each. I thought, "good enough". After I paid & got in the car & checked my receipt...I noticed that they were on sale for

.49 cents each!!!

Don't know if this is always the case or just this week. There was no sign up near them.

The 6pk bundle of Tootsi Pops is 69¢. Works for me every time cuz 6 of my 7 eat them; and it keeps the 3 littler ones not so nosey into my bags!!!

On Sundays, I use the Sunday paper as a filler. Sometimes my OOP is around .50 because of it, but the coupons in it will more than make up that difference.

ETA: I don't do this on weeks with a holiday in them for there are no coupons in my paper then.

In ad filler coupons through 4/11 I've been using to roll skintimate/colgate:
3/$1 (.33 ea) bubbles, .99 green olives 5oz (I can get black olives cheaper elsewhere), 2/$1 (.50 ea) ajax 14 oz (small can; think this is still cheaper than lg can @ walmart). Was very excited about the ajax .50 price to use on transactions for skintimate (2.99) using the colgate rr, but forgot the colgate rr is for 3.50 not 3.49, so I still had to add both cans.
