What do you guys use for fillers? And where do you find them?

I hear about pencils, but I cant ever find them.

Pencils are usually on the seasonal isle, right now they have heart ones for vday. You can also find them on the stationary isle and at the checkouts, thats where they are at our stores atleast. However, I dont usually buy them for fillers myself.

I usually get Ramen noodles, I think they are like $.25. Great filler for us, because the hubs loves them! Sometimes if I need a big filler, I get the $1 boxes of dried fruit, they are great to keep in the car for the kid, and I love them too.

I honestly never know I need a filler until I get to the register..then I just grab the cheapest thing there.. usually candy.. which woudl be ok except I forget I buy them and the bag sits in our storage room for like 3 months before I get to go through it.

Post-holiday candy is ideal. I used candy canes and various Christmas candy for my early January trips. Plus, it's tasty. I consider it my treat for planning the wags trips:-).

try the holiday pencils, val, easter or xmas. they are usally 3/1.00

I do holiday clearance if they have it, pencils are great! I also use the Walgreens pocket tissue, it is really cheap, but can't remember how much. Maybe .25? I always keep it in my purse. Also, if there is something I might buy somewhere else, I'll buy that as my filler. Candy is always great, too!

I like using my RR on the FAR items that I don't have a coupon for. The WAGS contact lens soln is a good one, if you wear contacts. You'll get back all your money from the rebate that way (Plus 10% if you put it on the gift card).

I usually get the Wags pocket tissue $0.29 as my filler item. Never can have too many packs of tissues!

A filler is an item that you purchase to allow the coupons to go through. You always have to have the same amount of items as you do q's. So you have to throw in a cheap filler item to allow the use of an extra q.
Example: Say you have three items to purchase and q's for each item. You also want to use a rr to pay. That would mean you have more q's than items because the rr are considered a q too. So you would need to add a pencil or something cheap. That way you have 4 items and 4 q's. HTH Sorry if it was confusing!!
