I got the Babies R Us mailer for $5.00 off a box of diapers (Huggies or Pampers) and I have a $1.00 coupon so it would cost roughly $.21 per diaper. Is this a good deal? What is a good price per diaper? I would be buying size 3 cruisers. Sorry if this has already been asked.

That is not a fantastic deal, but not bad either. If you buy three boxes right now, you get a gift card valued @ $15. So if you factor that in along with the free box you'll get after purchasing, 9, then that is a pretty good deal.

I am usually happy if I get my diapers at $0.15 a diaper. This is tough to do though!

One way I try to help out with my diaper budget is to buy generic diapers (like Kroger brand, some are better than others) for daytime. My kids have always been pretty predictable needing a good diaper in the moreing (for 'messies') and at night, then I use the good ones (Pampers or Huggies).

I did the "get $15 back at BRU" deal the other day.

Got 1 value pack of pampers swaddlers and 2 boxes of value size wipes. with the promo discount and my coupons it ended up being about 13.8 cents a piece for the diapers and 2 cents a piece for the wipes. Average deal on the wipes but good deal for the diapers. This also doesn't include the discount for getting the 10th box of pampers free with your rewards card... I did this deal twice and just rolled the $15 gift card from one transaction to the next.

Maybe not as good of a deal as tig301 got, but jumbo packs of Huggies are on sale at our Kroger for 7.88 this week. I plan to use as many $1.50 Q as I can get my hands on for 6.38 a pk. For size 3 diapers its 40 a pack or just over $0.15 a diaper. I am HOPING my shortcuts Q and my manu Q work on the same pack but I don't know if it will...plus Cellfire has $3 off 2. Plus, I have at least 2 manu Q from SS. So I am hoping to get at least 5 packs (or 200 diapers) for about $30.

So you can get the $15 off is you purchase wipes as 'value size' too? I thought it was diapers only...or does it depend on your cashier?

shopalgood - the deal is good on value size diapers, value size wipes, tide, dreft, and charmin toilet paper. buy any three and get 15 dollars back. I believe the particulars are on their website.

that's a great deal at kroger, too bad all of them near me closed a year ago. i loved that store

kristen33 - I've been to two stores, one store (a Toys R US) let me use the store coupons ($5 off of each value size diapers, $2 of each value size wipes) in combination with getting the $15 GC back, the other store (a Babies R Us) wouldn't let me do both. Maybe you'll get lucky? It's worth a shot. Even if you don't get to use the store coupons, it's still a decent deal. You can always use one manf. coupon with each item.
