Oh No!!! I cant believe I did this!!! I misread and thought the Pillsbury Deal was purchase $15. not purchase 15 items. I just returned from Publix and sat down to complete the rebate and realized my mistake. I bought 11 items (or $15 worth) instead of the 15. Any suggestions? It states very clear "in one shopping visit".

I did have a great trip. Here is what I got:

1 Nice N Easy Perfect10 clearance= $2.00
6 Airbourne 1ct 1.79 each = 10.74
3 Pills Pizza Crust 2.39 each = 7.17
1 Pills Grands 10/$10 = 1.00
6 Pills Gold Layers .89 each= 5.34
1 Pills Ready to Bake 2.89 each+ 2.89
Total= $29.14

Coupons
Competitors Rite Aid $2 off N&E Perfect10= 2.00
Man $2. N&E Perfect 10= 2.00
6 Man $2. Airbourne= 12.00
7 Various Man Qs for Pillsbury= 6.35
Total Qs= $22.35

Total OOP= $6.79
Also, on my way out the door I realized I did not get my .01 sugar and went back and the guy put it in my basket and refused my money saying that it wasnt worth the trouble!!!

i would just take them back tomorrow and explain to customer service and then buy the 15. publix is usually very easy to get along with.

I used all my best coupons on this transaction. So how do you think it would work? I am sure they cant give me back my coupons. Will they refund me the actual paid price after or before coupons? KWIM? I am so confused and cant believe I made such a mistake.

From what I understand you can have more than one receipt, so buy how many more you need to make 15.

What gave you the idea that it can be more than one? Maybe you have read something I havent. Maybe there is more than one rebate form? On the rebate form that came in this weeks SS it says "in one shopping visit". If there is another rebate or written source maybe I can purchase the others and send in the other source that states it can be on more than one with my 2 receipts.

No, it clearly says IN ONE TRANSACTION. I would call the manager and explain you made a boo-boo. Most are great. Just tell him you bought 11 items instead of 15. You will bring them back for credit but want the same items and you want to add 4 more . No issue, no worries.
They'll probably just ring a new receipt with the NEW 4 items added and you pay only for the added items..... less Q's for those. Worse case scenario, you get the full face value for the product back, and repurchase it with the 4 other products. Smile a lot and tell them how clean their store is..... corp has been cracking down on the dirty stores!

Flattery will get you everywhere! . My store usually will return the items at full price and then you can re-buy them at full price plus the 4 you need for the rebate. My publix is very accommodating like that.

Sorry...On the rebate I clipped out of Sundays paper it had receipt(s) printed on it. It didn't state just one shopping trip.

The wording above the cutting line for the coupon states, "Continue the Tradition with General Mills and Get a $10 Publix Gift Card! when you buy any 15 participating General Mills products*, in one shopping visit at Publix between 2/8/09 and 3/14/09!"

Although the form does show receipt(s), I think many of us would rather be safe than sorry and are going by the written wording rather than the implied (s).

I dont really know the answer - but the form you have to cut out states receipt(s) so, I would just buy 4 more and send it in. You cut out the white form anyway dont you?

IT HAS TO BE ON ONE RECEIPT. IN ONE SHOPPING TRIP.

The receipt(s) was according to them, a typo, but now she knows about it.
