I got 46 items. Lots of different mega sale items, Granola, fiber one, trix, and 6 non megasale items. The total before coupons and Kroger card was 126.83. After coupons, I piad 17.34 and got a 3.50 onyo! Also, every single one of my printable coups doubled!! Yay mee!!!!

I went to Kroger on Tuesday for the first time in years. I ended up with 22 items and paid $14.44. It would have been cheaper, but the cashier forgot to ring up my free item coupon (.89) and I splurged on $2.99 regular price no coupon mashed potatoes.

I got:
9 hamburger helpers (on sale .89 ea)
5 Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
4 Pillsbury Cinamon Rolls
1 reg price instant Kroger mashed pot
2 Old El Paso Taco shells
1 Old El Paso Seasoning (should have been free, peel off on shells cashier forgot to scan)

I used $7.55 in printed at home coupons and saves $26.01 total. That was my FIRST TIME EVER to try this and I was so happy I called everyone I knew on the way home. I set up my purchases and took pictures, blogged about it, and was giddy! My husband says I have issues.

That comment about your DH made me laugh though, my DBF used to be like that ~ he'd ask me every trip " Sooooo, what are the totals?" and then he'd be like "WOW!" Then he'd brag me up to all his buddies that would listen. Now when I share my totals with him he says "I'm sorry, its just not impressive anymore." LOL ~ he really is kidding but he makes me laugh.

My DH has been going to the store with me for the last month. He is so funny because we high five each other when we see how much we have saved. I have been doing coupons for 5 years and this is the first time this past month he has started going with me. We have a blast in the store and all the ladies just look at him and say " I wish my husband would come with me. Can I borrow your husband"

I took DH with me last night. First time. I told him he will not be coming back. He drove me insane. I need time to process and make sure I'm getting everything and the price is right on the items. He's just wanting to hurry and get out of there. Then he wonders why I'm snippy.

Don't feel bad, that would definitely be my husband. I do not take him shopping EVER, if I can help it. He likes how I save so much $$, but isn't patient enough to hang around the store.
