I went to Krogers yesterday and they had alot of Buy One Get One Free sales going on. Also, I went online the other day with Kroger and thought I set myself up for cellfire and haven't received anything yet. Does it take some time?

| Cellfire loads q's to your Kroger card. When you buy the items and scan your card the q's come off the bill.

Heidi- you have to load the Qs onto your card through cellfire's website. You chose the Q's you want loaded- I think you can have up to 50. Then at Kroger, after they ring the item up, the money comes right off and you will see it on your receipt right after the item is listed. I don't know if they 'alert' when new coupons are available, but I think they do. I just joined Cellfire last week and used my first Q with them last Friday.

I first of all don't know if this is where I should post this, I am new to posting. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I was in to a different Kroger than I normally shop at today. I purchased several items that I had coupons loaded on my card for. Well the cashier told me that she could not take my manufacturer coupons if I had coupons loaded on my card for those item. I told her I had never had that problem at any other Krogers. She told me she wasn't going to let me do it. I informed her that we would be unloading most of my cart because I was not going to pay those prices. She headed to the customer service desk and came back and did take my coupons off. Has anyone heard if they are starting a new policy? The coupons that I can load on my card and my manufacturer coupons are the only thing that keeps me going there. Otherwise I can go else where and get the same item cheaper.

I read on a blog that manufacturers view e-coupons the same as paper coupons and they aren't intended to be used together. Some stores computer systems haven't been updated to resolve the issue and are allowing them to be stacked.

Today I went to kroger to buy 3 Johnson's Buddies to get the catalina. I had three 1.00 off manufacturer's coupons and a catalina for 2.50 off 3 Johnson's products. The cashier told me I could not use them together. I was puzzled because I had just used a Johnson's catalina and manuf. coupon the day before and had no problem. I told her this and she told me that she had asked her manager about it before and would not allow me to use them together. Did I just get lucky on my last trip?

This is my first trip to Kroger using coupons. I didn't need much just the mashed potatoes. I am still thrilled by the total OOP. I was able to get my mashed potatoes free and with the 11cents leftover the cashier applied it to the overall total. I spent less than a dollar at the grocery store. I've never done that! Betty Crocker mashed potatoes $1.09 Cellfire q -$0.40 SS q -$.40 doubled Kroger brand macaroni $0.97 Total before q's $2.06 OOP $0.86 |

I just found some bath bubbles for kids, Disney kids brand, zest body wash, old spice body wash, and a candle all for less than $1 each. I used the zest body wash coupon sent to me from kroger and had some overage. Be sure to check the end of isles and buggies sitting around that they are pulling from shelves for great deals...just be sure it's not someone else's cart. |

I went through the self check out (normally don't do because it's more hassel with coupons at my store)...anyway I had to get popcicles for my 2 year old (Happy Birthday today Ian!!!) He busted his mouth. Back to my point. I decided to dig through the trash cans by the selfcheckouts becuase I noticed some coupons on top. I found: (all kroger print outs) a free bumble bee tuna, free zone perfect bar, $2 and $1 pampers, $1 lean pockets, and $4 virginia slims (don't smoke, but picked it up anyway) Of course people stared and some commented I'm sure, but hey Free food!!!!

Went grocery shopping for the first time since I joined AFC. I received some great coupons from my coupon fairy just in time for this shopping trip. Total saved with coupons and Kroger savings was $25. I still spent $100 though. The items that I got with coupons were 3 boxes of Multi-grain Cheerios 2 with $0.75 coupon and 1 with $1.00 off coupon. Hormel chilli, Trix cereal, I don't remember much more. Sorry. But I was excited about my savings. Looking forward to saving more once I get used to this.
