PLEASE make sure that the Electric Fireplace is NOT a Refurbished unit. If you not aware that Big Lots sells Refurbished Merchandise. I worked for them for almost 6 years in Management, prior to my retirement and was in charge for all Merchandise coming into my store. Make sure the box does not say Refurbished or even ask someone to make sure.

I went today and used my coupon!

I got :

25 pack cd/dvd jewel cases 3.99 x 4
poof/loofah thingies (they were just so huge and soft and I love them!) 1.00 x 6
ocean spray light cranberry juice 1.30 x 4
hair towel 2.00
beechnut 3rd stage apple sauce .25 x 4

after q's I spent around $25. I am pretty happy. I wanted to get some of the hanes underwear they always have. They sell the three packs for $2.00 so after the discount they would have been cheap (got this last time they put the q out) but they only had children's sizes. And my booty is a little to big for girls' undies.

I went today too and decided to get new things to redo my almost 4 yr old son's bedroom since we are going to get him a new bed at Ikea soon. I found a pretty cute twin size sports design comforter for boys for $14.99 - 20% = $11.99 and a very cute sports design carpet (footballs, baseballs, & basket balls type of stuff) for $10.00 - 20% = $8.00. They also had small bottles of Ocean Spray Cranergy Energy Juice Drinks for $.25 each - 20% = $.20. I might go back tomorrow and get the toilet tissue they had and I can't seem to remember the brand name now.
Usually when I go in when they have those 20% off coupon sales I can get coupons at the register or they just hand them out but not this time and they told me they will only take coupons that are printed from the Internet club emailer. I was a little surprised that they wouldn't let someone get that 20% off deal if they just asked for a coupon or told them they couldn't print the coupon like I have before too. Maybe it is just the way this Big Lots store runs and they recently opened up a few months ago. My dad thought he could just tell the cashier that he couldn't get the coupon to print and still get the 20% off and still they said no way so I ended up paying for his stuff just so he could get that 20% off savings too. Maybe this time he learned a lesson and will print coupons when I tell him about this coupon sale. He is still too stuborn to use coupons but knows how much can be saved using them.
