I love ground turkey. I do not use that brand but when I get it on sale. I make tons of meatballs and freeze them. I even make little meatloafs. The ones that I do freeze... remove from the package and then wrap in plastic wrap and then put them in a ziploc bag, A staple in our home... but I get mine marked down or a fabulous sale and stock till next sale

I do something to the ground turkey ... this might help I ask for the ends of cold cuts (salami, spicy things) instead of the expensive sausage, and then cut it into cubes and add to the turkey mixture and make little meatloafs... When DS was young I took wonton dough and used a couple from package..rest freeze..these are the small size then took my turkey mixture and placed it on the one side of the wonton and rolled it up ...placed it in a tray and COVER ,,, the mixture should be moist becasue the noodle will cook ... bake in oven around 325 and wait till it smells and omg...excellent finger food Now that the DS is a vegetarian can not make but have used it for COMPANY because it is pretty and an economical finger food meal or horderve

I may be the odd one out. I really don't like the Jennie-O brand. I always feel like it has little pieces of cartlidge ground up in it, and I just can't stand that. I haven't bought it in years, so maybe it has changed, but I do remember it vividly from this brand. Sorry to be the negative one. |

Love it! Better than Butterball. Butterball has less turkey in their package compared to Jennie-O. And, I always buy the 93% lean NOT the 98-98% lean.
