How is everyone getting free Garnier at Wags? I went in this morning with my mfr q's and my easysaver q and was told no. The manager told me they would not accept both q's because they are both mfr coupons. I looked at the easysaver book q and sure enough it said mfr coupon. What's going on? This type of stuff is why I don't shop at Walgreen often

Mine says "Instant Value Savings" on top and was able to pair it with the Man.Q...

Mine worked fine.

I was told at stores where they are pains, to be sure to buy other items as well, that way they are not focusing on just your FREE purchases..
You need to give them the manny Q's first then once they are done with your Q's as you pay you hand them their Q from the easy saver. They usually take them.

I would try again, at a different shift, perhaps the cashiers just an a$$

Mine tried the same thing... The do show as manuf coupon in the ES book. All you need to do is add a filler and the q will go through fine.

I bought alot of other things, they wouldn't even try to scan the q. Said they are both mfr q's and it's a no go. Is this new wording? I've never noticed it before and I have had many other problems shopping at Wags never this, I have always been able to use both q's

They do both say mfr coupons but typically, Walgreens allows you to stack those coupons. I'd go back at another time. And like someone else said, buy other items as well. Usually I buy a pack of diapers so my total will be 6 or 8 dollars instead of 50 cents for 10 shampoos, kwim.

Sounds like they're just being pains. Are there any other walgreens near you? Did you check out up front or at cosmetics?

I just left walgreens. (I have so much trouble there i usually stick to CVS) Before i even handed her my basket the cashier said you can't use the man q's because with the esc it is fraud. They won't down adjust coupons because it is fraud. So i talked to the manager because the ad says "see sunday papers for q" and he said yes it is false advertising but he would only let me use one or the other (ESC or MQ). I told him I'd rather shop al CVS they are having the same deal right now. Walgreens is such a waste sometimes. My old walgreens was great, and then we moved and there are 5 around us and they are all crappy. I had a cashier question a smart source b1g1 q once and say she has to check with her manager if its free because most coupons aren't for free stuff.

I had trouble at a store too same thing so I just went to another store. This is why I shop CVS. Another thing RR did not print can't tell you how many times that happens.

Mine worked today using both, bot there was a limit of 4 per person, and a manager rang me up, I bought lots of stuff and handed all my manus fisrt, then the wags. He didn't say a word. I had a savings of $162.98, and spent $20.55 OOP. I still thoght that seemed high, but I am getting very used to getting good deals!!

I think this is worth calling corporate over.

I went to two wags today to do the deal. I kind of messed it up, my head just wasn't in the game.

First store

4 garnier items at $2.99 each. I had 4 man Q's and the Easysaver Q. I *think*my first mistake was giving her the Easysaver Q first. My second mistake was not having a filler item for the 5th Q(4 items 5 Q's) so the last $1 man Q wouldn't come off. I just paid the $1.xx and collected my bag of stuff. Not enough to worry about really.

Second store

8 Garnier items at $2.99 each(or so I thought,one was clearances at $2.19) Again, I gave the Easysaver Q first, then the man q's, but I made sure I had a filler item, a .12 Cadburry Christmas chocolate. So, 9 Q's,9 items. Again, the last man Q for a dollar didn't come off. I can only think it was because one of the items was $2.19??? The cashier tried scanning it 3 or 4 times, but it still didn't work. So, my oop there was $2.08. Still, not bad for all the great haircare products, I am just wondering why that last Q didn't come off? I have learned,in my experience at my Wags anyway, that the cashier cannot override or *force* the register to take a Q.

I just wanted to add that both of my cashiers at both Wags were very nice. I know that isn't always the case for everyone, but they were wonderful and really tried to get that last Q in for me.

The reason that it did not come off is that you needed to give the Man Q first then the Easy Saver. The man Q will not allow overage so if you had 9 items and $1 for each $9 this would take off first. Then give the Easysaver because it will allow overage. 9 times $2 gives $18 so it will take the full $18 off.
