Anyone else limited on the Garnier? I went today and they told me I could only get two even though the limit was one...said they didnt want to run out before the sale was over....OK you knew the sale was coming up...WHY didnt you order extras?..they did tell me I could come in Saturday and buy as many as I wanted.

No limits at my store...but the manager did come up to me Sunday morning in a panic and wanted to know if I thought she should order more! LOL...I told her YES!! So our store should be getting a decent size shipment on Thursday or Friday's truck!

It probably has to do with the people who go in on the first day and wipe everything out. They can order all the extras in the world and those certain people will still clear things out.

that store may just be exercising their right to limit sale to make sure everyone can buy some. if its the last day of sale, at least no one can complain if the shelves are empty by then.

our stores have not set up limits, Fructis may not be that saleable here OR it must be the freezing weather that keep people in their homes.

No limits here either. I went Sunday night, before work at about 10 pm , I thought that they would be out already, but I couldn't even tell people had bought them. They had a big display plus all the stuff in it's regular places, so I just got 6. I was suprised though, I really thought they would be out.

I've been to about 7 stores in the past 2 days. I've only been limited one time and that's when the assistant manager was working the register. She said I could only get the $2 off one of my Garnier but could buy the others at regular price minus my MFQ. I told her I'd just take one and get my others at a later time. I've only been buying them 4 at a time though.

i called corporate and explained, she apologized and called the store i was at to clarify there is no limit, nor is there a problem with combinng mfr plus esq

If the limit is one, than the limit SHOULD be one. Just to make it fair to everyone else. There is many times that I go in and the store is totally cleared out of these things when I only want 1 or 2. I personally think why Walgreen's are being more picky about coupon's is that 1 or 2 people come in and wipeout the store of certain products and they have to deal with other people complaining about being out of stock. Just my opinion.

Well the thing is, there is no limit which is why each store is setting their own limit or not setting one at all.

The ESC coupon states "limit one coupon per item".
That statement is completely different from one coupon per transaction.
My stores have used one ESC coupon for all products bought. If a store actually wants one coupon per item than fine, but to limit the number you can buy per transaction when it's a corporate coupon/promotion doesn't seem right. They are not following the rules of the promotion and I don't see the logistics of letting each store alter or make up there own.
I would think they would want to sell as much product as possible. When and if they run out they can order more and give rain checks which would in turn would move/sell even more product.

I have 10 shampoo/conditioners and 5 styling products. I would buy more if I had more coupons. My store is not cleared out and is fully stocked, the manager was helping me to locate tear off coupons but someone else had evidently taken the entire pad.

On the back of the Walgreens ads, it states that there is a "Right reserved to limit all quantities on all items." so even if they impose a limit on the number of certain items you can buy, they're still honoring the promotion but the manager do have the right to set limits.

The thing is, they're trying to make everyone happy and give everyone a chance to get in on a good deal.

I just think they should buy a lot more product. I mean honestly , like the hair dryer. That was ridiculous. They should hire someone from AFC that knows the upcoming sales to do their ordering for them.

yes I was told at one store that there is a limit of 3. And then at another store was not told there was a limit but they were having issues scanning their $2 esr coupon even on 1 shampoo alone. grrrrr they asked me to come back since they need to submit a ticket. I just went to another store.

Why should they pay actual money for an enormous amount of product just so we can obtain huge quantities for ourselves for free? Even if they do get $1.08 from the mfg coupon, that does not even cover their cost for the item. When we think about it, they do have to pay for the item before they offer us one or two for "free". I do hope they get it together and all of the stores follow the same policies though.

If they don't want us to buy a product they shouldn't advertise it on sale. They are giving it to the normal population for .99 cents. Those of use that use a coupon instead of just paying .99 cents are actually giving them more money. So in reality they are making more money off of this deal from those that use coupons.
It's not up to me to ensure that stores make money. That's their job.

No limits at the 3 stores I went to, but there wasn't hardley anything left at the stores to limit. I think I got 5 or 6 items at each store and that's because that's all there was. I'll check back a few times this week to grab more if they have it.

I went to 2 Wags today... there were no limits. At the first, the manager and a stocker were at work in the aisle and I loaded up 22 Garnier in my basket, passed them by and no issues. The 2nd one was funny. I loaded up the 22 and then headed down to get 2 more $.99 cent items when I almost ran into the SM! She was like: "Wow. THAT'S A LOT OF STUFF!!" Really loud and laughing... I said "kinda". She then laughs and says she thought I was one of her staff stocking at first. No problems there with limits either. However, when I got to the cashier, she was asking if there was a sale or something and I said yes... very friendly. Then when I gave her the ESC... her mood kind of changed a bit and she said she can use only one of those and quoted me the coupon part that states: One coupon per item... and I said yes, it does say that but I've only ever had to give one ESC and it takes off for everything I've purchased. She then scanned it and almost broke her jaw as it hit the floor when it actually did take off $44. I then handed her the 22 $1 MQ and her eyes were huge as she rung them through. I handed her a couple of my coupons and said they were for her. She asked was I sure I didn't need them and I said no, I'm done for at least a year. She took them and that was it.

P.S. By the way... I like to post a disclaimer now... I did NOT clear the shelves at all. There was plenty left at both stores I visited, which I found surprising, actually, because the L'oreal Vive Pro and Infusium that was clearanced was cleared out.

I had a limit of one at my Walgreens. The coupon says Limit 1 per coupon and I called the contact number for easy saver and asked the lady there. She said it means the discount will only be taken off of one item. All others will be at the regular price. She didn't say that you could only do one transaction though. Must be poor communication down the line to the retail stores. Better take advantage while you can! I wonder exactly how many bottles of Fructis have let walgreens stores the past three days!

that just shows that corporate has to train those who answer their phone for customer inquiries.

We all know that's not TRUE that the register takes off discount on whatever limit they set on their store coupons. What happens is that discount is multiplied to the # of items in your transaction. I have never had a transaction where I bought 3 of like items with IVC discount and had only gotten discount for 1.

I used 3 Easy saver q's & 3Man. Coupons and 'bought' 3 products with no problem. There was plenty on the shelves, too. Then I sent my sis in for 2 more. While she was in,I noticed that one of the products rang up at 2.19, as clearance, so I even got overage! First time in my life!
