Visiting fam in Oregon and I know Safeway has the 4 double coupons but I can't find them in the Safeway ad. Any idea where they're hiding in the Oregonian?

When you go to safeway usually right inside the door or at the customer service desk they have the flyer and you can get some there. Are you looking at a long flyer or a short one? Usually the short ones do not have doublers. On the long one its on ......maybe the second page at the bottom. They are brown and have red writing that says double up to fifty cents and four lines for the cashier to put initials. HTH |

You can get a stack of flyers at a safeway, and if you ask at customer service, they will point them out to you without any problem.

If you can't find any of those Safeway store ads near the door then they should have a stack of them by the customer service desk. Grab more than one of them since you might make more trips to the store and that coupon is right inside near the bottom. You can only double up to 4 coupons so you'll see the 4 lines where they fill it out and put $.50 on each line but most of the cashiers just write down $2.00 or nothing at all. Welcome to Oregon! hope it doesn't snow. It's pretty darn cold and you might need some de-icer and a good ice scraper too. |

Thanks everyone. We've been here for 3 weeks now, heading back to Texas in a few days so we experienced your crazy snowstorm. I'm teaching my mom, MIL and SIL how to coupon and with the holidays this is the first weekend we've even had coupons and then I can't find the dorky double q's for Safeway. Some teacher I am.....

![]() Take some of our freezing cold weather with you back to Texas please, I'm really tired of the freezing temps now. I need more lotion than normal just to keep my hands from drying out on me and my face too. |

And now it's snowing even more! I think I'll leave it here though...sorry. I took the girls shopping tonight and we hit Safeway, Wags, and albertsons and they all had at least 50% savings, most of their receipts were more savings and they had so much fun and were so happy, I know they'll keep at it when I'm gone. Saving money rocks! Oh ps...at least you have some cheap lotion in your h&b cabinet right? ![]() OH and one more ps... I didn't realize when Safeway doubled q's they don't double UP TO a 50 cents off q, they double any q 50 cents. I started handing over coupons 50 cents and under and the cashier was so sweet and said how come you don't want to use the $1 q instead of the 40 cent q? I'm like HUH? Thankfully I went through the line first so I could alert the girls that I had educated them wrong on the double q's.

Sorry I didn't think to point that out. Did she make it clear so if you have a $1 Q it can be doubled to $1.50 and a $2 Q to $2.50 or a .75Q to $1.25 Another great thing if you havn't already read it, is that you can use those safeway double coupons at Albertsons too. HTH |
