Awesome job! We got the chicken for dinner tonight too but didn't like the potatoes at all! The chicken was great though!

When my total came up to 71.xx I thought OMG.....I did some SERIOUS miscalculations!!But after my card and coupons it was only $14! I was so psyched!!

So we just got back from Chapel Hill today. I have been gone the last couple of days because my Dad had to have a tumor removed from the cavities in front of his brain. He is doing well!

Anyway, dh went to the store for me and I just had to brag because we have gone through our share of battles over couponing. Since I came in over Christmas with $90.00 in receipts and told him Merry Christmas, he has changed his attitude about the stockpiling!

So he goes to the store for me today and gets the following-

Loaf of Bread
8 pc fried chicken
3 packs of Kraft cheese slices (he thought he HAD to buy 3 because of the 3/5 sale)
FL shredded cheddar
FL shredded mozzarella
cans of soup
3 on the go bistros
onions
grapes
milk
sub rolls
And honestly not sure what else he got but he walks in the door and I was sleeping. He wakes me to tell me how excited he is about what happened at FL. He said the bill came to over $60.00 and he spent right at $30.00. He said it is the best feeling in the world to see the customer behind you and the cashier's faces when you get your bill "that low" and he was so excited! LOL I had to laugh. I praised him several times tonight (no, I was not about to fuss about him spending "that much" on groceries because I was thrilled that I did not have to go to the store after all the emotional stress the last few days!).

So he has been with me lots of times, has had people at the store tell him how fortunate he is to have a wife that coupons, etc, but I guess he had to actually do it all by himself. Oh, and this was his third trip. Wednesday he went to FL and used a raincheck I had for dogfood and Purina coupons I got in the mail to get 4 bags of Dog Chow for $20.00. The cashier told him that another B1G1 on Dog Chow is coming up. He also went to WalMart and used 15 Fusion coupons to get 15 razors for .97 cents each. I was proud of him! The CSM told him he couldn't use them all in one transaction and he spouted back, "Then I guess I will do 15 transactions. I have all the time in the world today." This is the man that used to have a fit when I would do 2 transactions at Walgreens!

I am so proud of him!!!! I will stop rambling now! LOL

they're purina coupons, but work on alpo since it's made by purina. you can print them from the purina give a bowl site.
