I tried to get the HA soap on Tues. Signs were down and they were charging 1.95 ea. I've been so frustrated lately because our FL either doesn't carry the items you all are getting on sale, or the items are not on sale. I would think that if one FL had it on sale they all would, but apparently not so. It's been such a lesson in futility. Makes me want to stop shopping there.

Oh, don't say that mom2gaenkatie...I just started shopping there and I'm having a blast! Sometimes my prices are a little more than some of the ones posted on here but usually not by much. Are you checking your local weekly flyer? I always look at mine and compare it to the things listed here to make sure we have the same deals. HT is worse around here, the stores can be 2 miles from each other and the differences in prices is sometimes more than a dollar per item!

I need to find out how long my Food Lions "bonus deals" last. That way , in situations such as the pump soap, Ill know how long I have to stock up. I just havent taken the time to ask the service desk yet. I have still yet to find another Healthy accent product to replace the soap. And trust me, Ive been looking. If anyone finds one,please let us know.

cooks4fun: you can always look on the MVP tag and see what the ending date of the promotion is. For instance, the Home 360 tissue price is good until 8/25, the foil is good until september sometime. So when the tags go up for the item, just check to see when the ending date it. It is usually at the bottom right hand corner.HTH

mom2gabenkatie: Definitely don't give up on FL. It may take you actually writing down the deals you see here online and then spending some time in your store researching those prices. There will always be a variation in prices at times so just adjust accordingly. Usually, the deals are still the same though. Food Lion runs their ads from Wed(new ad starts) to Tues. so make sure you are in that time frame.

I tried the HA soap last night because someone posted that it was still ringing .99, but I ended up paying .64 after FLIP last night(which I was NOT happy about) so some things will vary. Don't give up just yet! This is the best I have seen FL since I have been couponing!!!

Last night I got the 2 free large Ragu using the FLIP and 2 printables. I got a round can of FL oatmeal cheap with FLIP, used a guiding stars FLIP on a bag of dried black beans. Got a box of HA360 tissues .95, used a 1.00 FLIP, and got 8 chiquita pineapple bites. The sign says .99, but they ring up .25. Then they have the BOGO free peelies on them. Plus I used 1 guiding star FLIP on them as well.

Very Good . You did well on that trip.Your fortunate that you can use two Guiding stars in one visit. Im only allowed to use one of any FLIP per transaction.

I was going to try a kelloggs cereal FLIP along with a Guiding star FLIP on a box of "healthy" cereal. Might make for a cheap box of cereal if I can find a MF to go along with it.

Great job terri! I always use my MVP card first too and the deals still work. Also, I use the self checkouts and the cashiers always have to come and swipe their cards for me too. I asked about it and they told me that anything over $10 in coupons requires them to override it.

I head out to do a few F.L runs tomorrow.....Im hoping to find a good deal on a healthy accent item. I have a ton of Hand sanitizers and nail sticks. Any other thoughts or suggestions.
I love love love the guiding star FLIP, I dont have to think to much since it covers so many items. I only wish it lasted a month so I wouldnt have to make so many stops.

I went to Ben and Jerry's site, Have played every game know every flavor by heart but no coupons!!! What do I do when I'm there? I also sign up to be a member of some ice cream club.

I went to Ben and Jerry's site and joined there ice cream club, learned every flavor and still no coupon!!! HELP!! This coupon would make 10 kids very happy. My husband and I are pastors and we are building homes for abused children, our budget does not include ice cream!! If you could just guide me on what to do when I get to the site I would deeply appreciate it. Also I want to say thank you to all of you who do these coupon sites, they help me so much. My trip today at lunch I used the BOGO IP for the John Morrell lunch meat that is already on sale BOGO. I did 2 transactions at the self checkout, the first one went through with no problem, it took off 3.99! The second transaction beeped, the attendant took the coupon to the manager who said they couldn't take it...long story short, after I got my first receipt and argued that it came off on that one they finally gave in and pushed it through for the 3.99. Yay.

Oh, and there was a 5.00 off Catalina on your next 65.00 order hanging out of the machine when I walked up to check out. I also got one I think it was for 4.00 but I shoved it in my binder so its not in front of me right now. I have no idea how I qualified for that but it only printed on my first order and I did 2 almost identical orders.

I *think* that you read the very beginning of this thread (maybe??) and you are referring to a really old deal??? I think I made a similar mistake b/c that deal sounds familiar. Check the date on the post

(Unless you have a Food Lion like mine that doesn't carry ANYTHING!! ARGH!! No Off the Bone meat. Heck, my store doesn't even carry Food Lion brand bread!!!!!!!! I love the FLIPs and they get me in there when I normally wouldn't be going there, but lately I'm frustrated! Sorry - my minivent!!)

Sorry ladies I moving this to a new post did not see that it was for Food Lion.

Went to 2 Targets and got the All & Mighty trial size. At one of the Targets they were 1.02 (bought 5 at this store--spent $.36 oop). At the second Target they were 1.00 (bought 10 at this store--spent $.51 oop). This was after I use the $1.00 off any All. Went to 2 Walmarts only to find out that the Walmarts are not going to carry my White Cloud Toilet paper again. I was in shock thinking I have 21 coupons in my purse. What is a woman to do? The sales associate said she was not sure about the Super Walmarts if they will be carrying them or not since they have more room. So I called the Super Walmart and they had them. I was so glad. So I took a drive out to that second walmart. I loaded the cart with a box of 12 rolls of white cloud and then 3 additional ones. Then I happen to see that they also carry the white cloud paper towel. I was in shock I had been looking for these as well. So I picked up 6 of the paper towels which are 2 back Giant Rolls Select a Size. The Toilet paper was $2.00 a roll each and I had $1.00 off coupon. The paper towel rolls were $2.97 each and then had the $1.00 off. I figured I would try these out and see how I like them. I really do lke Viva Paper Towels the best. I so can not wait until I can get a good deal on Viva again. I have a few rolls of the viva but not a lot. Oh and then I also had gotten some potatoes in the freezer section that they have also at aldi's but at walmart they had a $1.00 off

Desirae, are you doing all your shopping at FL in one transaction or splitting it up?

She is most likely spilting it up. I know at my FL, If you use more then one like FLIP in the same transaction the register will beep.
