I was pretty impressed with myself and the cashier even forgot to scan one of my coupons so it would have been $3.50 cheaper had she scanned it. But I gave her my MVP after she started scanning the q's and she had given me full price off of my order for 3 of the wheat thins when they should have only been $2 off since they were also on mvp. So I figured I still came out a little ahead. I would have only gotten $8 off of my order with the buy one Ritz get a free wheat thins q, but since she gave me regular retail I got $10.47 off---those q's were definitely worth it!LOL!

All I can say is WOW. I was just on vacation in TN visiting my MIL..when we needed milk--so I ran into her local Food Lion store to get some only to discover that the store was CLOSING and everything was 30 % off--AND they were still taking Q's. Knowing they were closing, I asked the cashier when the next time they would be dropping the % off would be..she said "Wednesday" and it will drop to 60% OFF...OMG.....I nearly had a heart attack right there.

So--here I am on vacation (with my Q binders of course) thinking of what an AMAZING find this is...60 % off and still taking Q's?? OMG--how much stuff will I get for free??
One of my BF's was on vacation with us, she is an AFCer as well , and brought her Q's with her too.
We set out on a plan.....we sat down that night and figured out everything that we could possibly fit in our vans for the ride home. (we travelled from Ct to TN by car so had to make sure it would all fit for the ride home) And decided just to 'wing it' when we got to the store.

The Food Lion opened at 8am on that infamous Wednesday--and we were there waiting....as were about 100+ other people. It was a madhouse...but WHAT FUN!

In total we spent 4 hours shopping, 1 hour checking out, and I got GET THIS:

$1460.00 dollars worth of stuff for $153.00 OOP........a 89.5 % savings!

I am still in awe of this amazing vacation find! It sure was a once in a lifetime happening! I would have taken pictures, but we had to cram everything into every possible space to fit it in the van for the ride home. I will be updating my stockpile pics once I get it all unloaded and sorted but JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS AMAZING DEAL.
