I had a quick trip today... total before coupons & sales was around $36.00 and total OOP was only $14.00. And that was with a few items that I had to just buy at regular price, so I felt like it was a great trip.

One deal I found... I saw some of the big bottles of Dove body wash on clearance for like $3.70 (can't remember exactly)... so you can use the $1.00 flip and then there is a MC for $1.50 off too. Ends up being a little over $1!!

Made 4 runs today. Got a total of 16 boxes of Kellogg cereal for a total of 9.92 oop. Only .62 ea. The blinkie machines were still at every store. Most stores had 2 machines with the Kellogg's coupons. Great deal for me, since we eat cereal all the time!

Food Lion Internet Printable coupon that can be found on their website. I haven't tried them yet b/c I'm waiting on the printer my Dh ordered to arrive. I convinced him that I was missing out on some great deals b/c we didn't have a printer!

edit -- the kool aid didn't come off as on sale, so I went back and they reimbursed me 2.04 so my total oop was really 14.52.

They know me well at my store by now and while they look at my coupons, they never question them. The mgr had to come do an override on something and the checker said I know she got it -- she all this (pointing to my coupons)! The mgr said I know, she's good about that. ... I felt so good about that comment!! The the mgr asked me where I got the sugar coupon... I said on your shelf She just laughed! This is the same mgr that has commented that she should have me do her shopping before LOL!

I thought I would not be able to save at FL and then found the FLIP's. All I can say is WOW!!

I still think Lowes Food is a better deal with doubles, but I can't make these small trips to get the biggest savings. I have to plan as best I can and hope for the best. LOL

Tonight I went to the Food Lion down the road to get some more sugar. They had two bags left but my nice manager went and got some more for me out of the back, gave me tomorrows sales ad and told me I could shop from it tonight, which I didn't. He also pointed out that they had some potatoes on sale for $1.00 and there was a $1.00 q on the shelf....FREE! Thank you!

UPDATE: I went to FL this afternoon on my lunch break and was told I could not use ANY IP's anymore - a new policy for them. She even showed me the announcement they recieved - I am not sure if it was from corporate or not, so I am emailing them. Needless to say, I had her remove the Scott's from my order.
