Funny we were just talking about this and it shows up in this week's flyer. I got flyer early (a minor miracle!) and saw this coupon in this weeks' flyer. Special K is on sale BOGO (rings up at 50% off each or $2.15 at my store) so if you use 2 of $1/1 coupons you can get a half gallon of milk and 2 special K cereals for $1.15. Please leave some of the special K with strawberries on the shelf for me though...it's my favorite! LOL

Would this coupon work with the gallon of milk that will be on sale during the 3-day sale for $2.88? If so it would look like this:

1st Special K--$2.15 - $1q doubled to $2 = .15
2nd Special K --$2.15 - $1 q doubled to $2 =.15
Gallon of milk--$2.88 - $2 q in ad = .88

(This will only work if you use 2 different q's for the Special K. For example, 1 Kelloggs Ip and 1 specifically for Special K that was in a recent insert)

Grand total for 2 Special K and 1 gallon of milk = $1.18!!!!!

Pretty good deal!

Yes, it should work with the 3-day sale milk since it says any brand, any size, any flavor (how often do you see THAT on a coupon? LOL)

The only thing I am not sure of is if both coupons for the cereal will be doubled. I've used different coupons for the same item before and had only one double so I am not sure if that is a fluke or not. If anyone tries it please let us know. Thanks!

Well, even if the 2nd q doesn't double the total will only be $2.18! Still a great deal!

Absolutely is a great deal! And the good news is that I did it this afternoon using the IP Kellogg's coupon and the one from the Sunday circular a couple weeks back and both doubled. Some of the milk half gallons are only $1.78 but the coupon still takes $2 off so if you use both mfr coupons and buy the cheaper milk its only $.08 for 2 cereals and milk. If you go with the gallon during the 3-day sale it's $1.18 as you said. Yeah Homeland!!
