I had never had the pictures printed of our 50th anniversary party except for printing a few here at home (and boy is that costly). However, I decided to do it or bust! So I saw where CVS had online 4x6 prints for 10 cents each. I'm thinking pretty good deal..... So I spend 2 evenings downloading 172 pictures. Yep. A heap. So I figure it'll cost $18 by the time tax is added.

Then when I was registering in the Photo area of the CVS website, it says I have 50 free 4x6 prints for registering. Good deal. I'm beaming!!!!!

Then I scroll down to finish the process of registering and it says add your ECB # - so I do. Then I see where I get 30 free 4x6 prints for adding my ECB number. Double whammy - brighter beaming on GG's face!!!!!

Today I went to CVS to pick up the pics. Not ready. I go back 2 hours later and they're ready but have someone else's order in mine. So we go through the pictures. Separate out mine and proceed. The manager gets involved because they have not been coded in the system somehow. So after he finishes, the cashier rings them up and they come to $1.84 including tax.

Yep, you read it right - $1.84.

I sheepishly say - "That's not right." Cashier is aghast and wants to know what is wrong. I say, "I owe you more money." I'm thinking I owe them maybe $9. She said the manager did it. I say, "I don't want to take advantage of a mistake." She checks with the manager, and he says that is the way the computer figured it.

My face breaks out in a huge grin and cashier is dumbfounded. I say thanks and leave while the getting is good. Anyway, I think what happed is the freebies came off at the regular price. The non-freebies were charged at 10 cents each, and the freebies really off-set the charged for pictures.

Anyway, if anyone else wants to give this one a run for the money, have at it.

I simply paid $1.84 cash for 172 4x6 prints. Awesome deal to me. I didn't have any ECB to use, anyway, and it didn't give me any back.

I had something similar happen to me tonight. I had used the card scanner the other day, and it had printed me a "25 free prints, (Up to a $7.XX value)". I got online last night, and ordered 75 prints, as they were .10 a piece, and this way I figured I would pay $5.00 and save $2.50 - plus I had a $4.00 ECB I was going to use, so it would only be $1.00 plus tax. I go in tonight, and the guy scans my "25 free prints" coupon, and when I go to hand him my ECB, he tells me I don't need it, it is only 27 cents. When he scanned the coupon, it took off the $7.XX value of the coupon, not 25 prints, so I ended up paying only .0036 cents a print! I asked if he was sure, and he said that was the way the register took it, and there was nothing wrong! WOOHOO! Oh, it's the little things that make me happy! =) And by the way, this is my first post! I am a newbie, and still trying to get the hang of things. I did pretty good tonight, I think: 8 bottles of Nature's Bounty vitamins(some were $9.99 a bottle, so not free on there own) 4 Oil of Olay products, 12 protein bars on clearance, and a bottle of water. I did 3 transactions, and started with $4ECBs, then rolled those earned with the vitamins. After I get my Oil of Olay gift cards in the mail, I will have made $6.00. =) I just can't seem to get my ECBs to grow - the second I have one, I use it, and I am back to zero. The most I have had at one time is 12, which was tonight, but I had used those by the time I was done with my transactions. Any suggestions?
