I went in yesterday and got a copy of the ad for the 4 day sale. The colgate coupons did match, at least the one in my Albertson's ad. THe 4 day ad shows WAGS coupon and Albertsons ad were both for 6.4 oz toothpaste. So if you did have the coupons, free toothpaste. I didn't have the coupons with me, because I thought that they weren't the right ones, will use again today if I get out. Too much snow right now.

I did two transactions yesterday:

2 Zooth toothbrushes 2/$4= $4
4 Walgreen chapsticks =2.97
Listerine Smart Rinse = 4.50
Listerine Cool Blue = 4.50
Total = 15.97

coupons used:

Zooth wags toothbrush coupon from coloring book-2.00
4 day in ad coupon for chapsticks-----------------------1.97
Listerine Smartrine free coupon from manfacturer---4.50
Listerine cool blue IP --------------------------------------1.00
RR from old promo------------------------------------------6.00
Total off = 15.47

OOp was .50 + tax= grand total was 1.45 with two new RR's from Zooth of $2 and Listerine $4.50.

Second transaction:

1 Listerine Smart Rinse = 4.50
1 Listerine cool Blue = 4.50
3 Russel Stover's Private Reserve
6.7 oz Lumin Box Chocolates = 14.97
Total = 23.97

Coupons used:
Listerine Smart Rinse IP ----1.00
Listerine Cool Blue IP --------1.00
Russell Stovers b2g1 free ---4.99
$5 Holiday Dollars-------------5.00
Total off=====11.99

Total after coupons 11.98 + tax=12.70; used last month's GC rebates of 10.99 making OOP $1.71, and got 4.50 RR + Rebate submission of $10 for the chocolate.

I was pretty proud of these deals, starting to get the hang of this stuff. I really liked the Listerine deals. I bought one of the Listerine smartrinse containers last month for the try me free deal. Payed about $3.50 for a very small container, with the idea of trying it out on the kids. They really liked it, but the container was messed up. You are supposed to squeeze the bottle and the liquid pools at the top. Well, ours wouldn't fill up the top, it was so hard to get any out at all. Yeah! I got to complain about it. The customer service was really great. I got a envelope in the mail with a coupon for a free on and postage to return the bottle. Well the coupon was for one free up to $5.00 which worked great on this deal getting me a bottle more than three times the size of the original one purchased (and free after rebate), and a second bottle free with RR's! Score. So with the four bottles purchased yesterday with coupons and RR's figured in I got all four for $1.50.

I want to try getting out today to find three more of those pretty red boxes of Russell Stovers chocolates for one more set of rebate money. (They will make nice Christmas presents for the kids teachers and husbands co-workers). I have several more coupons but only two rebate accounts to buy for. I could only find five at last night's store. Needed six to get three free with coupon and rebate, so I left the two and only bought three. I will try another store today with hopes of getting three more, and getting my colgate toothpaste free, now that I found out that the coupons match, but most of all I have $20 of Holiday and RR's that I must use by the 20th.

In response to what a deal's question: According to her post they sent her a coupon for a free bottle since the one she bought previously was messed up.

Like Ashlei said, the bottle was messed up. When you squeeze the bottle it is supposed to pour into the top and measure out the correct amount, ours didn't pour any out, just air bubbles, you had to turn it upside down squeeze and wait for little drops to dribble out into a cup. Customer service was really good about replacing the product, which was obviously defective, by sending out a coupon for a freebie. New ones I got a few days ago work great. Although now that it is easy to get the mouthwash out, it is being used up fast. The little bottle I bought lasted forever, but the kids have already made a sizable dent into the new bottles.
