| Proper Q usage at WAGS
I have a question for you WAGS shoppers The Glade scented oil candle holders are on sale for $3.99 starting tomorrw. I have 2 q's I'd like to use. One is a buy 1 get 1 free and the other is $2 off any one. Can I purchase 2, use the b1g1 Q on the one and the $2 Q on the other? That would make it $1.99 for two, woo hoo! Thanks in advance!

I think that's a YMMV case... You probably can do it, but at some stores the $2/1 Q will not come off bc the 2nd Glade candle may have rung up as "$0.00" on your receipt. Some cashiers will just key it in, some won't, it kinda depends on who you get and what mood they're in |

At my walgreens they allow me to do this no problem. It is one coupon per item purchased and since you have two coupons and two items you are fine. This is why I sooooo love walgreens they are great with the coupons. It works cause you use the b1g1 free on the first one then you use the $2 off coupon on the product you are purchasing. I don't know why all stores don't work like walgreens. 2 candle holders---- 3.99 x 3 = 7.98 -b1g1 coupon = -3.99 -2 Q = -2.00 Total = $1.98 + Tax Remember that all stores (and all cashiers are different) YMMV on weather they allow the stacking of coupons like this. Good luck to you! |

I have always been able to use a coupon on the item I am buying, and then the b1g1 free coupon on the free one at walgreens, but not always at walmart, because they will tell me that the coupon is on the one I am buying, not the free one. Technically I believe the coupon goes to the free one, since it is free with coupon. but, it all depends on how they interpret the coupon usage. good luck! I did use these at walmart on the holiday scented oil candle holder that is $2, with no candles , I purchased 1, used $2 off on it, and got the free one with a b1g1 free coupon. |
