I've only started shopping again at Kroger in the last two months. I earned a $0.20 discount on gas from groceries last month. When I went to pump the gas, the keypad "asked" me if I would like to use my $0.10 off discount. I said "yes." The next time I filled up it asked me the same question. So I got two fill-ups at

I would like to know, can you get more than a dime off at each fill up? If I had told the keypad "no" would it have let me enter a higher discount? What if you have a whole bunch of discounts from the groceries you've shopped for? Also, does anyone know if the gas rewards are based on the purcahse price BEFORE or AFTER coupons?

we only get .10 for every $100 that we spend - it does ask you if you want to you your .10 reward - and i am pretty sure it is before coupons - because i always qualify for more than i paid

If you answer "no" it won't apply the discount to that purchase. I like this feature because it allows my DH and I to share the discount. Before, he would always get it because he fills up more often than I do.

Let me clarify:
Is it possible to get $0.20 or more off one purchase? My gas rewards said I had earned $0.20, but instead of it giving it all to me at once, it made me have two fill-ups.

I'm not sure if it is different in different areas, but here you can earn .10, .20,.30 or .50 off. You accumulate points until the end of the month and your discount starts the 4th of the next month and you can get 4 fill ups in that month's time at the discounted price. Your points that show on your receipt reset at the end of every month. That's how it works here, anyway. Last month we earned $.50 off a gallon and just used our 4th fill up last night. Each time we got the $.50 off, it didn't split it up.

Here the max you can get is $.10 off per gallon. If you spend $200 you would get two fill ups at the discount, spend $300 get 3, etc. The only way to get more is to use the Kroger Mastercard and I believe you can get $.15 per gallon then.

I'm in Michigan. It must be that it is different for different regions.
We had to take a trip through last night to get the last 57 points for the month to make it to 750. I'll be getting $.50 off a gallon for this month too. We always take a gas can with us and fill that after filling the car. Last month we got gas for $1.04 a gallon!!!

I SPENT less than $200 on groceries. The 750 points are before coupons. Since my Kroger doubles $1 coupons, I've been stocking up on free and near free items. We have almost an entire cupboard full of Ronzoni pasta and Frank's Red Hot.
