I don't know if anyone else saw this, I didnt.
It would not go through twice and the clerk said it was saying this coupon or ECB has already been used...
She read the fine print and said, OH, we can only take one of these per customer.
I don't know if that means per card? or per trip?
I'm going to try to use another next trip with a guy I KNOW will take as many as I handed him! LOL
I just thought this may be why the beeping too?
I did not do to well with my $$ because this threw me way off!!
But I did get my stuff from rainchecks last week, finally, except for the agent blue mouthwash, shelf is still empty!!

ALSO, she tried to tell me I could not use an ECB with that coupon, I had to inform her ECBs were ECBs not coupons and she had to call a manager that agreed with me, but still allowed only one 5/2 store coupon...

I did not know this. Thank you! I had a large ECB and it beeped. The manager fixed it! Thanks again for the clarification on the use of the coupon.

I did two separate deals at two different times but at the same store- I think this is a YMMV- one deal they would only allow one coupon one deal the other clerk took too- be sure to try- it does not hurt to try!

Not true for my CVS. I bought $30 worth of batteries and used 2 of the $5 off coupons and it didn't beep at all. I guess it all depends on the cvs and who you get behind the register!

While the fine print of many coupons say "One per customer" it often doesn't mean one and only one or they will hunt you down like the dog you are. It means one per trip. The exceptions, of course, are the unique CVS e-mail coupons that CVS sends which are linked to your CVS cards. Those will make the register beep and will display the error screen indicating that the coupon has already been redeemed if you try to use it more than once.

I would just love to know why it is beeping for some, and yet others are using 2 in one transaction and not beeping! I HATE beeps, it makes me feel like I am doing something wrong......and I have yet to do this deal. wonder, wonder, wonder.........atleast I have really good cashiers (who probable won't be working the day I go!) who will help me!

Mine beeped, but the manager told me the trick. You must use your ECB first then the $5.00/2 and then any manufactor in that order. I did three transactions and it worked this way. Hope this helps....

That's weird --- I'm just back from doing the deal twice; I gave the ECB's last and got no beeps from the battery q!

i think it is the cvs 3/15 is that is knotting up the computer .. but when it beeps and wont take your extra buck have them scan your card again this does work we tried it today

Confirmed that they will not "hunt you down and gut you like a fish" (as The Grinch would say) if you use more than one in different transactions or days. No beeps. No sirens. No handcuffs.

I HATE BEEPS too.
But when the coupon clearly said that, I had no choice but to agree.
She also said I could not use another one in another transaction right in a row "while your standing right in front of me" her exact words.
I don't even need the batteries but for $5 and lasting for years, I may later!!

Yep...this works, I had a cashier do this and it works like a charm.
