I thought the same thing ~ I spent $40+ at walmart.com at the beginning of this month too, but then I noticed that the rules say that this offer is only for purchases made 11/18/08-12/18/08

Hmm. Well I went trying to search on the net about this one. I found this website for another forum

there are a lot of people debating on if its a scam. They are saying that amexnetwork or whatever is linked to american express. A lot of people are getting like a $1 hold charge. However... If you go to the amexnetwork website directly and go to the offers pages and search Walmart, it comes up with nothing. I'm not 100% sure i'd trust it. Possibly a call to amex to make sure it's legit? I don't have a card or else i'd do it myself

I did however find this on their page that's pretty neat..

It looks like they add a new offer every Mon, wed, and Fri like spend $500 at Best buy get $150 credit. $60 at boarders get $20.

I've read a lot of controversy about this offer on other sites while doing research on this. Sounds like an awesome offer, but the uncertainty makes me too scared to bite
