I always keep my last receipt handy in my binder so I know, that is about the only way

I keep my last receipt handy, too.

Also, once I started to have some stuff rung up only to realize I'd grabbed the wrong size diapers (cashier noticed and reminded me that they weren't part of that currect ecb deal). So I had her void out my transaction so I could get my act together LOL and a receipt still printed out afterward even though I didn't purchase anything. It had my limits and a couple of crt coupons. So maybe you can try something like that...

Same thing for me. They were trying to add a GC to the purchase and messed up, so she voided it and out spit a crt q.
