I saw a few people getting the Halls Naturals Cough drops FREE (or even money maker) after using the BOGO free coupons. I found the coupons today, in the Rite Aid sales paper for this week. They are on page 6, and are Manufacturers coupons with a regular scanable barcode. It says Buy One Get One Free yp to $2.49. I am in Alabama. Hopefully you will have them in your sales paper as well! I am excited to get some FREE cough drops for the winter. Hope this helps someone! So, the deal could work like this: 10 packs Halls Naturals (2.00) $20.00 8% tax here $1.60 Total $21.60 CVS $3/$15 coupon -$3.00 5- Halls BOGO coupons -$10.00 Total after coupons $8.60 I will pay using an $8 ECB and will earn $10 in return. If you don't have the $3/15 coupon, you would pretty much break even :-)

Yes, I looked at mine at it has the same very small wording at the bottom. I think you can still use the coupon at other stores as it is a Manufacturers Coupon. But, it is probably a YMMV thing, just check at your store. I bet Rite Aid added those words so that most people will use the coupon at their store :-) Does anyone have any more information on this? Prior experience? Would love to know before I try to do the deal. Thanks!

(assuming your store lets you use the coupon - ) You will probably actually pay less than you've calculated above b/c of what ecbs and cvs coupons do to tax. $20 - $3/$15 - $8 ecb = $9.00. Then you will most likely be taxed on the $9.00, so $9 x 8% tax = $0.72. (this has been my experience, that you are not taxed on cvs coupons and ecbs but that you are taxed on the remaining subtotal after them, so it's wise to hand over your ecbs before your manufacturer's coupons.) So you'd have a $9.72 total to pay, and then when you use your $10 worth of Halls coupons, you could possibly go negative by $0.28 and might have to pick up a filler. Some states do handle the whole coupons/ecb/tax situation differently, though, so YMMV.

In the Kmart flyer there is a MANUFACTURER COUPON (I can't remember whether there was a kmart wording on it, but it does NOT MATTER BECAUSE a manufacturer coupon is just THAT a manufacturer coupon and that is where the reimbursement comes from and a STORE coupon is only valid in listed store)for .50/1 bag then there was a display for the tearpads bogo so I wasn't thinking about the cvs and I did this @ kmart 4 manufacturer coupons @ .50 each (cause they only double 4 each like coupon) 4 halls bogo coupons @1.50 each so my kmart store had the Halls /41.50 so I got 8 bags @ $1.50 each =$12.00 -$4.00 (doubled coupons) -$6.00 bogo coupons total oop for 8 bags was $2.00!! now to save the bags for sometimes during the winter they have mail in rebates for the actual upc's !!so I will watch and see!!!!!

| Pretty sure here in MN if it's ingestible it is and if it's topical it's not. General rule, anyway. There are probably exceptions. |

I have the Rite Aid BOGO Q's. I went to CVS and looks to me like the Naturals aren't giving ECB's. Only the regular drops had signs under the product-$1.50 on sale spend 20 get 10 ecbs. Has anyone bought the Naturals, used the BOGO, and got 10 ecb's? |

| I need to run to Food Lion for a couple of quick items so I will have to check and see. I will admit, when I do make my rare quick trips to Food Lion I walk down every aisle checking for coupons I can add to my coupon collection. My hubby laughs at me.

| Yeppers. Ten bags, 5 Halls Naturals BOGO Q's, cashier scanned my card in the middle of the transaction and then took off $2.19/bag rather than the sale price of $2/bag! I used my JFM hair dye ECB and paid $.56 OOP for the whole shebang!

| I believe that the Halls coupons in the paper were only for .50 cents off, so not that good of a deal.
