| No more IP's???
I just got back from doing the 2 day candy sale for the Hersheys, Mars, or Nestle. $2/$3 plus I had my $1 off 2 bags. The cashier said we no longer take these but I will take this one. She pointed to a memo they got but didn't show me it. Anyone else have any problems?

If they no longer take them, why would she take one then? I think it's BS. Next time ask her to show you the memo. I hear it a lot, cashiers saying they no longer take IPs. Most of the time, its BS. HTH! |

I haven't had any problems with them taking IPs. Hopefully it stays that way!!!!! I agree with Kt and Cj's Mama, if they are not supposed to take them anymore, then she shouldn't have taken ANY at all! Sometimes cashiers seem to want to make up their own rules.

It depends on the store. One store by me will only take 1 IP per transaction so I don't even bother going to that store. Each store can make up their own rules so if yours stops taking them just move on to another coupon friendly store.

I've not had problems with CVS taking the IP's, thankfully. I just used 1 of those $1 candy q's today with no problem. The only store I've ever had issues with with the IP's is lovely walmart!!! |

The cashier at the CVS I frequent, called the manager over when I handed over my Mycokerewards coupons. The manager said that they were o.k. and they were not the ones they were talking about in the memo they had received. So, there must be some coupons they are on the look out for. They only place I have run into that does not take the IP's is Kmart.

I haven't had any problems at all! Saturday I went in and used 4 of the Excedrin coupons to get 4 free aspirin and today I went in and used 6 of the $1 off Nestle coupons and got 6 bags of candy for $3 bucks! I love those great CVS deals!! |

I used an IP today and had no problem.

On Sunday,one of my local CVS(s) ,which I don't frequent often, implied I was committing coupon fraud. She claimed they got emails about it...... I told her I am sure they receive emails regarding it and unfortunately it does exist .To pretty much accuse some one of doing such without actually checking coupons and trying to scan the coupon is not great customer service at all. She is a shift supervisor and I asked her for her name (guess I was too irked to read it on her badge.......LOL) She confirmed she is a shift supervisor and reluctantly told me her name and quickly left the register for the back room (Chicken ) Now I realize why I don't go in that store often! |

I had several IPs happily accepted at my CVS today, no mention of any sort of new rules.
