Do ECB count as a coupon when used to pay for a purchase? My plan for tomorrow is to buy 10 items, but I have 10 qs and I plan to pay with 2 separate ECB. Would this work or would I have to include fillers? Thanks for any info! I am fairly new to CVSing and I appreciate all the help!

Yea, it is not like walgreens....I use coupons and then see my total balance and then start handing over the ECB's... I like CVS much better than Walgreens.. Walgreens is too much confusion...and with the ECB's they give you at least a month before expiring and Walgreens RR expires in about 2 weeks... |

Think of the cvs ecbs as "cash"

I have never understood the concept of "fillers". Realistically, you could have five items in your cart, have a mfr coupon for everything, have a x/xx and pay with ECB's and this would be perfectly fine. More coupons, than items (since the ECB's do ring up as "CVS coupons" on our receipt) but its perfectly legit. You could even have CVS CRT/scanner q's to match up with those items and I still don't see a problem (unless any of the coupons prohibits being combined with other coupons). So to answer your original question, I think you will be fine paying with your ten coupons and ECB. Don't buy anything extra that you don't need. |

Thanks everyone! Now I just hope that they have everything on my list! There is only one CVS in town and there is always something that they either never got in or ran out of. That will completely mess up my plan on using a 5/25 I finally got! Wish me luck and thanks again!

| Thanks. I had to ask since at Wags, the RR are supposedly to be used "like cash", but then they restrict the number you can use at one time! If it's the same as cash, it shouldn't matter! I'm glad that CVS doesn't do that.

Yes, you can use ECB just like cash. For example, you can buy one item use a CVS Q, a man. Q, and multiple ECB.
