Can you freeze Nesquik Chocolate?

I have read on this site about people buying milk and then freezing it.

Krogers has a great deal on the nesquick ready drink bottles for $1.00 and I have 30 .50 coupons so each would be free since my Krogers double.

I just don't think I could drink that many. Do you think it would be okay to freeze these bottles and then just take them out when ready to drink one?

Thanks in Advance..

I was wondering that same question. Although the ones that I bought this week don't expire till Jan so you have 3 months to drink 30 thats only 10 a month or like 2.5 a week. Of course the do take up a lot of fridge room. You could hope for your store to be out so you can get a raincheck. which reminds me that I just came from there and they were out of the regular c. milk (they had the milkshake chocolate and strawberry) but I was going to get a rain check for the regular and I totally forgot.

I've heard of people freezing their extra milk too. Most of them say they have to pour a little off the top before freezing because the milk needs room to expand. I don't have any experience with this and am also curious if it really works....

I freeze regular milk. The only problem I could see that the sugar may keep it from freezing. I tried to freeze coffee creamer once and it wouldn't free and I *think* it was because of the sugar.

I froze these a few weeks ago and there was no problem with them exploding. They take awhile to thaw in the refrigerator, but once they did they tasted just fine.

I just stocked up on another 20 with the same sale at my grocery store this week!

I freeze milk all the time. I just open the container to allow some air so when it expands it doesn't split the bottle. It is fine when I defrost. Taste and look the same.

I have frozen these a few times and have never had a problem with them exploding. They do take a while to defrost, but taste great! I also think that it handles limit control, cuz my kids can't just gulp one down- they have to wait a bit! Perfect to keep lunch boxes cold- we start defrosting them out of the fridge the night before and the drinks are still cold and a bit slushy in the morning. By lunchtime they perfect and still cold.

For you girls who have frozen them, do you empty any out first or put them in as is (unopened?)

I put them into the freezer unopened. Never had a problem with them bursting.
