| Peelies
I just wanted to know something. If I know that I am going to use a peelie at some point is it wrong to get a few extra when I see them in the stores? Also what if I am not purchasing that time at the time I see the peelies?

I know some people get really mad about taking peelies when you aren't buying the product right then. I am conflicted.... right now Albertsons has $1 peelies on Altoids and price is $1.85 so .85 not a bad price but Fred Meyer has them for $1 which would make them free. I really want to go back to Albertson's and take a few but I'm not sure I should. If you take a few and not clean them out I personally don't think it is a terrible thing.

I've seen ppl in front of me in line at the store w/ items w/ peelies on them and NOT take them off and use them!!! How horrible is that??? Totally letting a good q to waste!!!!

Me personally, I will not take the peelie if I am not buying the product. I know how frustrating it is when I go to buy something that should have a peelie, only to find the sticky evidence of someone else grabbing it. Plus I am not looking for any kind of odd coupon karma. But, this is just my opinion. |

This is a topic that could get out of hand very easily. Let's all remember to play nice. To each their own...

We've had this discussion so many times. I say to each their own...I will not judge.

I read somewhere once that legally (and this might depend on each state) that you do not have to purchase the item to get the coupon and taking it off is ok. (I'd have to research that to know for sure though) Morally/ethically it might be something to consider...but if it really is legal, I might be fine with it. I would not go over board and take all I could find though! JMHO! |
