| Cheap BRACHS candy!!!
This week the BRACHS candy at Walgreens is on sale for .99 each, however in the October ES book there's a $1/2 q on page 5! Making them < .50 each! Admin edit ~ This deal will NOT work as the coupon in the Oct ES booklet if for the LARGER size. SORRY! I just went last night to try this and you are correct admin - The .99 Brachs candy on sale is for the .9 oz and the coupon is for the larger size bags.

I have a co-worker who is addicted to candy corn so we have it in our office this time of year. Yummmy! (good when you mix w/ salted peanuts too-sweet/salty)

actually I think the coupon in the ES coupon is for the bigger sized bags and the smaller ones are the ones on sale for .99.

I have a recipe for a yummy trail mix with candy corn....I make it every fall for our school bakesale and it sells out every time! You mix candy corn, raisins, mixed nuts (or just peanuts) candy corn, M&Ms and smallest pretzels (either rods or tiny ones). I also made some with animal crackers and hershey's kissables, no nuts but added raisins and dried apricots for my nephew who is allergic to peanuts. (can't use M&Ms because they are processed in a plant that also processes peanut M&Ms.) Both kinds are addicting! I made it for christmas too using the apple candy corn (the red colored) and then found some red and green candy corn somewhere last year, I think it was called "Reindeer corn". They are both pretty in a glass jar with raffia tied around the top, glue a little silk sunflower to the top or in the bow. |

According to the ad for my zip code on Walgreens.com the $.99 Brachs candy is 7 - 9 oz. And the EasySaver Q is for the 11 - 17 oz. So that deal wouldn't work out but that is still a good price, for me atleast, candy corn is so yummy! |

yeah the es coupon is for the larger size, but it's still a good deal!
