I went last night and bought the following:

~~(1) Advanced Revitalift (w/ $2 mfr)
~~(1) Rimmel Foundation (w/ $1 mfr)
~~(1) Pert (w/ $1.50 mfr and $2.50 ESC)
~~(1) Clearanced Candy Bar (filler to use $10 RR)

That's 1 MFR coupon for each item right? Except then the cashier accidently scanned the RR twice (which is the equivalent of using 2 RRs) which put me at 1 more mfr coupon than items and it didn't beep. I pointed out the double scan to her so she voided it, but it still made me wonder if they still count RRs as Mfr or if we no longer need 1 coupon per item. Anyone know?

Edit: I'm not suggesting that everyone go out and try to use more coupons than items...what happened to me may have been a fluke so YMMV and all that!

Yes, RR's are considered Manuf coupons. Get a cheap filler if you have 1 coupon per each item and want to use a RR too.

I knew I could use more then 1 but I split it up into 4 and used 1 for each order so i could buy 4 wisp without running into the limit 1 thing I only got 2 as i was looking for scrubbing bubbles items for mail in rebate and ES rebates but I am taking DD back tonight for more.

hmm. I know I had an order beep last night but I think it was because of my pretax total not being above the RR amount. Although I think on a different order I got a beep because I had forgotten to add the filler on my list.

Who the heck knows! We're talking about Walgreens here. The rules change from minute to minute!

I do think that when you give the RR first it doesn't matter, however if you give it last which is what I was doing it makes a difference.

Exp with the Fusion

I was buying that and a candy
then I got smart and tried it with out the candy handed the RR first then the coupon and paid less out of pocket as well!
So maybe they did change it. Or maybe it was always this way and we just had larger RR's I don't know I think I always made sure to have more items or same as.
