| "one per purchase" blah blah blah...
I went to wags to do the huggies deal with the 5/20. I get my stuff, cashier starts to ring up.. I handed him my Huggies Mq's (got them at Kroger in a blinkie) He starts reading and I'm like oh man... so yep he says one per purchase so I can only use one. So I try to explain the difference between purchase and transaction to no avail. I ask him if he could call a manager. Manager says yes she'll take them but they'll have to be rung up seperate. I say but what about my RR.. no they won't do both. Instead of getting worked up I just said ok thanks... He asks if I want my coupons back (uh DUH! LOL!) So I walked out completely empty handed (I was going to buy 6 packs of Huggies) Their loss right?? So should I email corporate or just not go back to that store?? I went to my regular store they accepted all my coupons and printed my RR no problem! |

I would call them as , I'm so sick of them pulling this crap. They did the same thing to me with the robitussin deal. I went to another walgreens and asked for a manager and he had no problem and took all 3 coupons and I got my rr back. Maybe they ( walgreens) need to get a memo on what " purchase" and " transaction mean. Let us know what they say if you call them. |

Walgreens seem to vary between stores so much on their coupon policies. It can be completely different policies within just a couple of BLOCKS distance. I have found it best just to thank them, get the coupons back (of course), and head to the COUPON FRIENDLY Walgreens. Saves on the gray hair!

I have been wondering if the whole Wags thing is even worth the effort. I have talked to the bigger bosses and there seems to be no clear policy. The employees don't seem to understand things. Not really worth my time to go in there for something and leave empty handed because they are giving me a bad time. There are other cheaper stores around that is for sure. Sorry you had that happen. Keep us posted please. |
